If you are not angry about a 9 win season with no incentive to lose then that says a lot about you. Let's give out participation trophies to the team for trying.

You don't comprehend the concept of rebuilding?

Show me a good loser and I will show you a loser - Vince Lombardi

Building through the draft isn't the only way to rebuild. Having the 2nd most money to spend and only getting what Marks did is a huge failure that had nothing to do with King. Telling the world that it's not about winning here isn't exactly the best way to attract free agents. Having a record that proves it does nothing to help us in future free agency crops. Knowing we can't rebuild through the draft, Marks should have focused heavily in recruiting and he missed as bad as you possibly can.

Rebuilding through late 1st round picks doesn't work. You need the Anthony Davis, KAT level of player to do that. Levert, RHJ and Whitehead are barely rotational level prospects and far from the type of players you tank a season for by bringing in a bunch of 2nd and 3rd stringers on their 4th or 5th teams to fill in around them. We actually got lucky and had a diamond in the rough in Yogi but the organization couldn't identify it and now he is starting in Dallas.

Rebuilding through restricted free agency doesn't work. There is only a couple examples of someone leaving through restricted free agency, Lin and Asik come to mind, and the NBA has made changes to poison pill contracts since then to further discourage it. Signing Montijunas was especially dumb because we were the only team who could not sign him when the writing on the wall suggested that he had a huge rift with the Rockets organization.

Marks is making mistake after mistake and it's these mistakes that have us in the toilet. We don't even have a chance at catching the 2nd worst team in the NBA, that's how poorly he's doing. So please tell me how he is doing a good job? Everything based in reality says otherwise. As Bill Parcells says, you are what your record says you are.

Net Sentence, as I told you a year ago, cap space doesn't matter if you already don't have a winning team in place. You expecting Marks to go out and sign top tier unrestricted free agents to a losing team is irrational. How long are you going to troll here with this same anti Marks stuff over and over again?

I love that we got a 1st for Bojan, I just wish that we didn't give up CMc or if we had to that we would have gotten a future 2nd thrown in.
