The way they can shoot, they could definitely make a run until they hit a team with size. Bracketology would have them against Florida in their second game. CBS already had them in the play-in vs. Cuse so I imagine they have them out now.

As I said before, I think Xavier is overrated and MU will beat them. Creighton game will be huge, but they lost again and will probably fall out of the rankings. Might come down to winning some games in the BE Tourney to get in.

Think they definitely will need 1 Big East tourney win for sure to make it now unless they beat both of Xavier & Creighton. Even then to be safe would like 1 BE tourney win. It's going to be an interesting selection Sunday.

Bracketology has MU facing Seton Hall in the 11 seed play-in game.

I still think winning 1 of the last 2 keeps them in, probably in Dayton. Win one BET game and they are in as a #11

As predicted, MU beats Xavier. Probably need to win Saturday to feel completely safe.

I would think they are close to a lock at this point, at worst would be in the play in games

Loss to Creighton plus loss in first round of BE tourney and they could be NIT bound.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Who does Marquette plan to have at center next year? Heldt? Or is there an incoming freshmen who will start? You still need good big men in college even with the proliferation of the three ball.

Yeah, but since Sumner tore his ACL, the team has gone downhill. Sumner is one of most underrated players in college.

Even before he got hurt they were basically the Badgers. Beat every team they should, and couldn't beat a quality team. Lost to Baylor, Nova, Butler, Creighton, Cincy, and beat a bunch of average teams. Their best win all year is over a post-Watson injury Creighton by 2.

Damn can this team can be fun to watch when they are on like this. Would be a really nice win over a quality opponent, especially if they keep the margin right around where it is now at 16. I'd think it would guarantee a fairly decent seeding in the tournament too.

Tournament lock for sure.

One can shoot 50% from 3, the other struggles to shoot 40% from the field in general. Pretty much the difference.

Bad UWM team beat #2 Valpo in their tournament, fairly cool. I see no general thread, to the Marquette thread it goes.
