Doncic definitely doesn't finish through contact nor have the crossovers/footwork of James Harden. Can't pull up from anywhere like him, either.

Is it really fair to compare 18 years old Doncic to Harden, who is playing game of his life? Other prospects are judged on what they would eventually maybe do in some years time, Doncic on what is he doing at the moment? Was Harden always that good? Will Doncic be stronger, better in 5 years time? Or maybe there is consensus he won't improve anymore?

There is tons of footage of 17-18 year old Harden. Maybe he will improve, but if I have to project him improving in a bunch of areas then maybe its a bad comparison?

Doncic should play in high school now and I'm 100% sure he would look much better against school kids than professionals in Euroleague, who are the best Europe players or grown up former NCAA stars, not to mention different rules and defenses in Europe. I don't say we must compare him with Harden, but understand he's barely 18 years old and has a lot of time to become better in every areas.

He definitely finishes through contact, hangs in the air against taller/longer opponents and seems to pull up from anywhere that he sees an opportunity. His game is similar imo to rookie year/6th man James Harden.

I agree, if we compare Doncic to someone, it's best to compare him with this man rookie season, having in mind that Doncic has still 1 and a half year to become better.

The game in Euroleague is totally different and it's really difficult to expect from Doncic to play like Lebron or Jordan if not many adults in Euroleague are playing like that. Yes, I agree he has lots to work on, but there is no under 20 years old player in the world who can do in Euroleague what you expect from Doncic.

Just for the feeling, the most points ever scored in Euroleague are 41, this years leader in points category has avg 22.2 and third one only 17.3. The game is defense oriented ans totally different than in Nba. And yes, because of that players look different than in America. Do you understand how much more difficult is to play with this strict traveling rules? No first step without ball touching ground? And yes, we don't know how Doncic's game will translate to Nba, but to be honest we don't know for sure for any prospect.

I don't want compare him to MJ. I just want to tell you that there are some things that are totally impossible in Euroleague. If he could do at his age in Euroleague what you're telling he should, he would really be MJ and even MJ at 17 would have big problems to do this things in Euroleague. He will never be player like MJ or Lebron, because I believe no white guy will ever be. But I believe if everything goes his way, especially health, Doncic could be very good Nba player.

With the game he's playing now, he would be very happy to even come on the floor. The same like Drazen Petrovic had to totally changed his game to play in Nba. In Real only Llull can do almost whatever he wants.
