Yeah, I was going to say it's a little early to decide on that, especially with a one year guy. He does show up in the top 5 in two of the three on the top line here... http://basketball.realgm.com/nba/stats?rookies=

Not surprising at all, given he has played the most minutes among Rookies....

SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

In Theory I agree with you, But you know the NBA wont allow that to happen.

Yes im aware of the 55.8% chance ( damn you Steve Nash :banghead: )

How's the Lakers forum? Are Lakers fans posting on another site now or is it just because the team is intentionally tanking that no one is around?

And don't worry about Ingram yet, Bender isn't looking so hot yet either. Give em both til the end of their rookie contract.

Not even sure bro I barely post on here , figured id have some fun with you guys since we are in the same boat ( tanking )

That's cool. Yeah, no matter where you land, it's still almost a coin flip of whether you keep or lose your pick. But we traded the rights of it for Brandon Knight who we don't even play. So if you guys do lose it somehow by having a couple teams jump into the top 3, and instead of us getting the 4th pick, we are paying Brandon Knight $14 million a year and he doesn't play, that doesn't leave me happy.

Anyone else remember those trade proposals of chriss and our pick this year for Aldridge?

If Ulis and Sauce were our 2nd unit all season long instead of Knight and Len, maybe we'd be making a playoff push?????

The funny thing is that if the Suns played Knight then the Lakers chances of keeping their pick would probably decrease.

Don't think that was really a serious trade proposal. We could have given the Spurs Knight and Tucker for LMA though.

Ulis is a terrific point guard. I don't know why it took us so long to play him significant minutes.

I said a long time ago I was more excited to have Ulis then these top 4 PG prospects in this draft. Glad he's getting to play and show finally

It's simple Miyag, the FO was showcasing knight... now there is no point. This was an asset related strategy. The fact that BK can't sniff the floor is a decision that is in the coach's hands now.

I know you know this.

If BK had been playing well, it is likely Ulis would get only mop up minutes, unless of course, BK was traded. It appears now more than ever, he has no place on this squad, especially with the resurgence of Barbosa. Somebody has to go this off season. Can't see them moving Ulis, Barbs, or DJoneJr for that matter. Frankly, I think Jones is more of a surprise. That dude is scrappy

I agree on Jones. I'm starting to think he can be a legit rotation player in this league. It sounds simple but when you have that kind of athleticism and just play hard as hell that alone can make you useful. If he refines some skills look out.

I've complained about McD for not finding some diamonds in the ruff but jones, williams, and ulis are looking like some good finds so bully to him.

Incredible night. Being at the Purple Palace to watch Al McCoy go up into the ROH was just a really beautiful experience. Couple that with a great win and you get my favorite game of the season.

Imagine how much better Ulis will get once he gets a bit more experience and bulks up. :o

I don't think these two things will be that big of a deal for ulis but for different reasons. While he could add a little bulk dude is always going to be small. I already think he has an outstanding feel for the game so I'm not sure you will see a drastic improvement there with experience.

To me what could drastically improve him as a player will be shooting. If he can develop a consistent 3 pt shot that would be a game changer for his career path.
