Westbrook taking himself out the game intentional fouls.

Look at there starters Abrines, Roberson, Sabonis, and Adams. There is no gameplan for that.

You forgot Kanter he carried them that 2nd quarter.

Yeah, him too. Watching this Dallas team makes me wonder how their record is so bad though :/. I really hope OKC can come back and win.

They had injuries to all their vets to start the year, so the young guys had to learn on the fly, resulting in a lot of early losses. But the young guys improved and they have a great coach so things got better. Their vets came back so they improved even more. It may be too late for them to sneak into the playoffs this season but they should be a playoff team next season

I really hate the way Taj has been used in OKC so far.

Like Doug Collins said earlier, he needs to be comfortable in the system to be effective offensively and give the energy that he can. Currently it doesn't seem like that is the case, and it really shows against a well coached team like Dallas who is able to exploit that.

Lakers up at the half vs Pelicans. :noway:
Celtics fan.
We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.

I don't understand why people have Westbrook winning the MVP. His teams lost too many games and they're a 7th seed.

No, his team is literally that bad.

He has the worst supporting cast by FAR of any playoff team, like its not even close.

Their 2nd best scorer has been injured a lot as well.

TBH I shut the game off because I'm just pissed and tired of it right now, but Donovan's a terrible coach.

I don't think Doug will ever get his confidence back. Seems shattered you don't see many pros react the way he did to a clanked 3 like that.

Let me see, without Westbrook they would be lucky to win 5 games. Lillard with a much better supporting cast is not even in the playoff yet...

Most people had the thunder ahead of the rockets before the season started.

What ever happened to rewarding winning,

Why is it that now, fans want to make an exception for Westbrook?

You can say that about harden too... and he's doing a much better job carrying his team.

Seriously? People are getting ridiculously carried away with Westbrook's supporting cast. Adams is really good. Oladipo is solid, though he's been hurt. Taj has only been there like 5 games but he's really good. Kanter is a really good backup center. Roberson is a solid starter when you have a guy like Westbrook.

Would they make the playoffs? LOL no way

Would they be worse than the Nets? definitely not.

Tomorrow TNT is showing IND/CHA on national TV instead of HOU/SAS that starts only 30 minutes later. Come on guys, do what's best and put the better game on. There shouldn't be an uproar if IND/CHA gets bumped for a game featuring two MVP candidates, two COTY candidates, and the 2nd & 3rd best teams in the association record wise.

"BEFORE THE SEASON STARTED"

What does that have to do with anything. Since do we grade supporting casts by preseason predictions?

There isn't an "exception" being made either. He's legitimately having one of the best raw output season ever and is carrying a 10 win team to the playoffs despite injuries to their 2nd and 3rd leading scorers.

Rewarding winning isn't the end all be all for MVP, especially when the 3 best players in the game are basically removed from consideration because of standards or them being on each other's team.

I think Westbrook is amazing. I guess it's an eye test thing w/ me. He plays w/ so much energy and passion, and has unbelievable athleticism for his size. I hope he gets the MVP, but these last 3 games are making that look less likely :( - although after that win over the Jazz he looked like the front-runner so I guess it's possible it will turn around.

Dallas looking like the new golden state lately - dang :/.

I heard them correct Westbrook technical count to only 14. That one tonight was dumb, so hopefully it's recinded, but probably unlikely since he lost his temper at other points in the game.
