I wouldn't be opposed to it. He can score that's for sure

Then waive Jeff Green, to mess up our tanking? I don't think so!

McRae might be an upgrade over Wilcox. He made ~800k this year, as the Cavs deal is fully guaranteed. McRae seems certain to get an NBA deal, but it is also probable for beng a minimum salary deal. If Orlando wants him, a guarenteed two year min deal should get it done. Year one 900k and year two at 1.1M, for a 2/2 deal. Sounds good as a roster upgrade at the 3rd string SG slot.

I liked him in Cleveland and wouldn't mind kicking the tires on him for sure. He showed at times that he can be a pretty legit scorer off the bench when his number was called. An upgrade over C.J. Wilcox and Rudez for sure.

I like him. More than anything I just want him to find a team where he can get some minutes the way Seth Curry did.

Could be a decent player if he got consistent playing time. I'd be ok with him joining Orlando and backing up Ross.

Why do people in this forum always immediately want a player another team waives?
Player is waived, new thread is created with highlight videos, .... never fails. No.... we don't want Jordan McRae.... Jordan mcrae doesn't want Jordan mcrae

He gets buckets. I'd definitely sign him to one of those 3 year non guaranteed deals.

It's the "Grass is always Greener" syndrome.

It's not exclusive to these boards, by the way, but it seems to be much more common here.

I remember for years Magic fans really really wanted CJ Watson and Taj Gibson. It was like they would be saviors over here.

I'm just assuming Mr McRae could help strengthen our draft position. We should play him at the 3 and sit Fournier. Mission accomplished.

Well Taj is in his 30s and declining now, so there's a good chance he'll end up on this team next season...

He scored 21 in a game with Lebron's ball hogging. Just imagine how many he could score on our team!
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

All due respect to Gibson and what he has done in his career. HIs game is based on athleticism: energy and hustle. Styles like that have a shelf life. Being that he's 30 or 31 at this point, he's on the wrong side of 30 now and is not worth investing a 3 to 4 year deal on. Look at what the Knicks did with Joakim Noah. Where's his game at? Look to what happened to Ben Wallace once he left Detroit? His game declined. When you make investment in players who's game is based on energy and athleticism, you invest in them during their prime, not when hit the wrong side of 30yrs old.
