Crazy thing is people were looking at fighting for home court advantage as the goal for this season. For all the bitching and moaning people do on these boards day in and day out, if we somehow managed to pull out 3 wins that were losses, just 3, we'd be within striking distance of that goal. It's insane the absolute grim picture that's painted around here.

it's like this with all fans. there was a bulls fan in their game thread tonight that said they were up by 10 but with the comments in the thread you'd think they were down by 10 lol.

there is definitely validity to that.

It's the nature of fandom though.

If you're emotionally invested in each game and comment as things happen live you're bound to post some wild stuff.

Outside the game threads we've all been discussing the issues with this team all season long...and yet we're close to HCA in the playoffs.

That's wild

That's the thing, if you've watched basketball for more than a year you'd know an early big lead/deficit in the NBA is almost the most meaningless thing in sports. I don't understand anyone jumping off the cliff 3 minutes into the first quarter regardless of the situation.

It's been a disappointing season for sure, but the team has been playing well lately and is at least in the playoffs at this point.

The Hornets on the other hand, have been a total disappointment. I predicted us and the Hornets battling for that 4th seed at the beginning of the season, and I really thought they would build off last year's success. That team is in a really tough spot. At least we've seemed to turn the corner this season. If I was a Hornets fan I'd be completely deflated.
