ATL a team in disarray with bickering between Schroder and Howard and Budenholzer?!!!

Nets win! Again, thank baby Jesus that it's a reasonable game start time.

In all seriousness, I think it should be a close game, the Nets are healthy and growing more confident.

I think we continue to show teams that we are a "good" bad team that should be taken seriously. Even with our talent deficiency, we have been playing better as a team as of late and I look forward to us continuing that.

With that said, the Hawks remain a superior team compared to the Nets so I will be happy if we can simply battle.

We give up a billion threes virtually every game. It wouldn't be a normal game if we didn't give up a billion threes and leave the opposing team's best shooters always open (just like what we did in Portland).

Hopefully, Brook stays beyond the 3line, keeping Howard out and allowing tons of space for drives. RHJ needs to keep Millsap out of the paint too.

With all of Brook's 3-pt shooting this season, THIS would be the game for him to get 6+ attempts. Drag Howard out and open the paint, maybe getting guys like RHJ, SK, CV open lanes to the basket.

This should be a contest where we have 5 players scoring in double digits.... but you know, this could easily be the game Atlanta uses to help mend issues with the team by getting a blowout win.

either way, I'll be watching and rooting tonight.

Defense will take us to a win. I definitely think we can compete but if we don't keep up the defensive effort this is a loss.

Lopez has to take a nod from Lin and be assertive.

If we lose this game, don't be shocked if it comes coupled with one of Lopez's mail it in games.

Have we discussed why Lin's pinky is also up in his "shushing" picture? Is that like the classy way to shut up an audience or is he paying homage to long horns?

22 efficient points for Whitehead tonight please!

Defense? Wish it were so but STATs don't back your assertion.

Of our 11 Wins this season the LOSING team has a whopping 107.3 points; likely the highest point totals for opposing (losing) team in the NBA. Nets averaging 118.3 as the winning score.

The way we've won all season is score points in bunches, quickly and more efficiently and pray we get stops here and there down the stretch - last 2 wins same story as previous 9 wins.

We'll never win with defense with this roster - defensive team lacks offensive firepower - that's undisputed this season until proven otherwise

We play at the fastest pace in the league, of course we'll allow more points per game. But our overall defensive rating this season (points allowed per 100 possessions) has been 109.6 while only 101.9 in wins.

For comparison the San Antonio Spurs have the best defensive rating currently with 100.7 overall and Jazz hold the 3rd best rating at 101.6.

We allow more points per game because our defense is BAD - when you have 11 Wins-to-date and gave up 107.3pts -- even when you Win -- that's the only conclusion.

Man, I really hope Schroeder and Howard thing causes them to play bad tonight. Otherwise, this will be very tough to win.

Respectfully disagree. Our defense has been fine. Some lapses here and there but with Bog gone and with Acy, it's improved overall.

The problem is turnovers. The motion offense is just not suitable for all these players who have no business handling the ball.

Even Brook's inside pass to the cutter has a high rate of turnover. That's the biggest problem w Nets right now. Either switch the offensive scheme or see 10 turnovers every half.
