This doesn't kill us in no way. If we have 13-3 record with a guy with a 4.5 ERA will just be fine. Not only do we have not good but great pitching prospects to fill in for sheets we have a good bullpen some thing we didn't have last year and one of the best offenses in the league.

I'm not too worried about this.

I still believe that Cappy and Suppan will turn it around, while Bush has been getting better and better and Vargas is as solid as #5 starters come.

I don't want to get too ahead of myself, but...

Could Balfour be a candidate to be a closer for us next year? It seems like he's got the heater for it and his AAA numbers look closer-worthy...

His numbers are sick, but he is 29. It will be interesting to see how he looks in the majors.
