Definitely true, although maybe if he wasn't a broke ass college student he would have left info on the car lol (half joking)

Haha as someone that works in insurance, minimum liability for property damage in Kansas is $25k, unless he's uninsured.

I would still take JJ 2nd overall at the moment.

"He's coming in here about as mature or as worldly as any kid we've ever had," Self said. "He's good at it, but it's not fake. He naturally enjoys company but he also respects elders. He's well beyond his years as a college freshman."

He seems mature and both of those acts are extremely out of character.

The vandalization sounds worse in detail too. He followed the girl out to her car because he didn't like what she was saying to his buddy, got in an argument, and if I remember right he kicked it when she was in it.

hopefully he drops to the Suns

Jayson Tatum is putting on a show against Clemson right now. Not hitting the 3 but the passing, defense, and scoring off the bounce have been impressive. He's not a bad consolation prize if we get boned in the lottery.

Yeah, he's having a very good second half. I'm still not a fan of Duke players but I might have to make an exception for this guy.

That is simply not true. Period. Not in the mood for alternative facts today. Watch the video on page 50, or look up some stats.
"Turnover on 32%+ of all pick-and-roll posessions puts him on the bottom of all college PGs."
How is that gonna fly in the league? Especially when he gets benched in favour of a better P'n'R PG who happens to be a carrer backup, and his daddy is throwing a tantrum behind the bench somewhere?

Also, first 4 minutes of that video is also intresting. His shot is picked apart, and the "coach" doesn't even mention the fact that he starts the motion well below his waistline. I have less and less confidence that he will be such a stud that he is made out to be.
OK starter with some great plays and some obvious flaws? Sure. But not the MVP level game changer.

Now be honest, how many actual GAMES have you seen of Lonzo? not HIGHLIGHTS but GAMES

3 so far, and all extended game highligts from youtube, and other draft-highlights even the highlights are several hours... I will also watch his game in march. If you care to say something meaningful, or contradict the fact about his putrid pick and roll execution, or bring an example of an all star NBA point guard with such a funky shot, please do so, and we can continue. If not then please let's end this conversationm where you only throw some shady, passive-aggressive sht on my arguments trying to make me look like I don't know what I'm talking about. Ridicoulus. I might not be right (see my conversation with Marcus), but at least he and I are talking and arguing.

I didnt mean for you to take offense, I was just asking because I go UCLA and have seen almost if not all of their games.

Impressive you can sit and watch several hours of highlights, I dont even think some scouts do that.

I really dont see where the PnR hate comes from, when him and Leaf/Welsh execute it, they score on about 60%. They just dont do it more because theyre ever barely in half court sets because theyre always pushing the ball in transition. This is not an issue that will hinder him in the next level.

the shot part of your post...Silly, I may not be able to show you an all star PG with that type of shot but i CAN show you an all star pg with a lower 3pt%. so whats more important?

so I didnt have to make you look like you didnt know what you were talking about, you did that yourself

It looks like we'll be a 60-70% chance of picking 4-7, be interesting who we target as it's very even around there.

The McDonough types are Isaac, Williams, Ntilikina as long athletes with some ball skills.

I'll have some numbers on Dennis Smith Jr. shortly

Without the athletic testing, this is what I got from him
Overall, he's in the 58th percentile, slightly above average for a 19yo PG

Would take him right now since Rawle plays no D whatsoever.

Well now you're just messing with me. :;

Good to see Sean getting a start on 2018 but he's not done for 2017. Arizona leads for Bowen and is still in on McCoy but I'd take Duval over either of them. Duke supposedly leads over AZ but that may change if Frank Jackson doesn't go pro.

If those measurements hold true, he can play center in the NBA, especially if his standing reach is good too.

@Duke4life831

I know some KU fans dont want to hear it but its definitely a two horse race for Duval between Duke and AZ. I was told back when he reopened his recruitment it was because he wanted to go to Duke with a backup of Kentucky (told this by a well connected AAU guy not a Duke guy). So I was told that he was going to take all his visits but if Duke wanted him it was basically a lock. Now that was a few months back in October, it definitely seems like AZ has made significant ground in the recruitment. I really dont think Frank is a big factor, K knows how to play two PGs and he can just point to Cook/Tyus backcourt to show how successful it can be. I think if Grayson returns it would be a bigger hit to the recruitment in my opinion. Right now id say 60/40 Duke over AZ. But the longer this goes on the better the odds for AZ.

Not going to lie, id be pissed if Duke misses out on Duval, the dude looks like a legit stud. Hes going to be a beast for his one year whether its at Duke or AZ.

What's everybody's thoughts on Kennard?
Don't know how we could get him(Mocks in the 20's)...using a top 5 pick on him might be a stretch. I don't know if there's a better shooter in this draft.

I don't think he's a bad player, but I'd be pretty pissed if we drafted him in the top 10 (likely top 5). I think that there are only two guards worth our first pick, Ball and Fultz.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.
