But you make a point for the second unit. Having Mahinmi and Smith on the court counteract the Jennings/Boggy defensive issue.

We're not a good defensive team because none our guards/wings are plus defenders aside from Otto Porter. Even plugging in Gobert for Gortat, our defense still wouldn't be top 5 in the league, probably top 10 though.

I kind of feel like Gobert makes any team a top 5 defensive team in the L. But I probably haven't put enough thought into it.

Almost surely top 10. We currently rank 13th in DRtg. If you ignore our first 12 games when nobody understood the defensive system, we rank 10th in defense. Replace Gortat with Gobert and we're probably top 5.

Bloody boring game tbh

The third quarter was unwatchable for about 10 mins. No defense played by either side. I was thankful when Denver started to come back so dudes actually starting trying.

Yeah im not buying into all this negativity from my boys like NatP4 or others that appear to look at the glass half empty. Honestly if you have been a Bullets from for the time that I have you have to enjoy finally seeing our team be a legit team period. Just a legit team where we dont have a single knuckle head or glaring flaw. Our bench was horrible but Bogs makes it reasonable...and Jennings might make it formidable...but either way. The only game I want back is the Sixers game...the rest of the time was great.

BTW this isnt a dig at guys like NatP4....because i think he is holding the team to a higher standard...while im just happy that they are not the Sixers...

Like among the first since like '82. Totally agree we should be enjoying every minute. This almost as good as it ever gets for Bullets/Wizards fans. 20 years from now, we may still be talking about this season (hopefully as the start of a new dominance, but more likely as a brief, shining moment - a mediocre Camelot if you will).

I can't remember the last game I missed watching.

Im with you fam! I was shocked to see this was a better season at this point than any of the Agent Zero years...and who would have thought Beal, Wall and Bogs would be playing better than Twaan, ToughJuice and Agent Zero at this point in the season...when we started 2-8...yeah these are the glory days...its good when they happen and its better when you know it!
