I didn't see the weigh-in but Kelvin is gonna smash TRT-less Vitor.

Shogun still gives no f*cks. LOL, what a legend. His 2005 Pride Grand Prix run will forever cement him as one of the best though and he can do whatever he wants because of it.

I honestly would have liked to see Vitor vs. Shogun. Shogun losing some weight wouldn't be a bad thing right now, also would've been interesting if they held off Rashad to fight Vitor on this card too. Unless Rashad still wouldn't take a fight with him.

Solid card though, featuring one of my favourites in Dariush who hopefully doesn't get destroyed in a tough matchup. If he can somehow close distance and get the takedown against Barboza, then it could be interesting. Edson's stand up is really elite and it makes it hard for Dariush to do so. Edson does struggle against southpaws though.

Never the type to want to see a fighter get KO'd but ALex Oliveria has been asking for it lol.

Yeah, I checked out this card on the schedule a while back and thought it looked fun, but then forgot about it. So it snuck up on me. I wouldn't have necessarily been aware about it at the time if it wasn't posted here.

Davi Ramos is probably the poster child for how carelessly Bellator manages prospects these days. Because he was a promising 4-0 prospect. Yet, they put him up against former title challenger David Rickels in his debut. He was actually having his way with him, until he gassed midway through, and lost the fight by decision. Then they cut him. That's no picnic of a match-up for Moraes. He is actually getting a fair amount of respect in the betting lines, making them pretty close, only 2:1 fave for Moraes, so they have pretty good perspective here. Moraes actually hasn't even been beaten since his UFC debut 7 fights ago, believe it or not.

Go Soto vs. Yahya. Soto had a remarkable comeback against Beal, and that's sort of what his career has been. Almost being ended on those eye injuries and then starting off in the UFC fighting for the title due to circumstances, taking a beating, losing the next couple, and now having to climb his way back up. I think this is actually a good match-up for Soto. He's a good wrestler/grappler and has something of a background in boxing to, flashing hands, but he has a hard time wading his way in against taller guys and athletes. Neither of whom Yahya is. He wants to get in close himself and get his opponent to the ground. But Soto has better wrestling. At almost +200 a lot of places, you might want to bet that.

Hopefully Brazilian Cowboy gets his ass kicked after that last shameful display. When Tim Means business he can put a thrashing on guys.

Lee vs. Trinaldo has fireworks written all over it because they're game in all positions and competitive to try and win all moments. There's another win streak that has snuck up on you - 7 fights for Trinaldo. Helps when you fight in Brazil so much and they sort of set you up to win opponent-wise to appease their fans, but still.

Dariush vs. Barboza is more technician vs. technician. I'm actually leaning Dariush because they're both kickers but Beneil will be liver side and he really hangs in there with the boxing to throw pretty solid counters which Barboza often doesn't see. And if the fight goes to the ground, it should be obvious who has the advantage. But maybe Barboza has just elevated himself above a less physically talented guy like Dariush at this point. We'll see. Should be very interesting.

Morales vs Ramos is BJJ nerds wet dream which probably means it'll be a d level kickboxing match.

Brutal blood fest between Soto-Yahya, both left everything out there and had nothing left in the tank.

True that. Vitor is probably the biggest cheater in the history of the sport. Barnett and Chael are close, but Vitor probably edges it.

I don't think I dislike anyone in the UFC as much as I hate Oliverira.

Late up kick at the end of the round, and a bunch of other antics I could do without (the dancing, and trying to hug Means in the middle of a fight after they already touched gloves). With all that being said, Tim Means was a massive disappointment tonight.

that wasn't so bad after all. I agree with the draw, but the second round was a close one to score. Bethe is one of the best heels in MMA lol.

RIP Benny.

I think a Barboza-McGregor fight could be really interesting tbh.
