Can't even call that circus a scrimmage and Wall's on-off jumper isn't really something that translates in those kind of games anyway.

Washington just needs to start winning on a regular basis and all of the other stuff like popularity, All-Star votes and jersey sales will follow.

Yeah like it worked out for Tony Parker and Tim Duncan...they clearly sell so many more jerseys and made so much more money than Lillard and Chris Paul will make-

Tim Duncan's career was by quiet by choice. If he had wanted to he could have had any number of endorsements and been the face of the league. Tony Parker's relative lack of stardom was because he wasn't as good as Damian Lillard or Chris Paul are.

Let's be honest, neither of those two were all that exciting to watch, but I'd like to offer Leonard as the counterpoint, he's got one of the hottest jerseys out there.

If the Wizards got as much exposure nationally (and won as many games) as the Spurs I bet you Wall's jersey sales would be up there.

Washington has been in the news in a positive way a lot lately for exactly the reasons you state - they are winning.

I don't think the All Star game is John Wall's bag, and really could care less. The far bigger slight in this space in the Olympic team. That's where Wall would make the connections. I fully expect him to make it next time though.

Not sure about best in the NBA but they certainly have a legit case for 2nd.

Wall's 3 point shooting has been interesting. He shot them well in november and then really struggled over the next 3 months. Recently it seems like most of his attempts are catch and shoot looks. He isn't shooting many off the dribble and his accuracy is starting to pick up. Hopefully this continues.
Thank God we didn't draft the Fat Matador.

Objective....they played all of the best and beat them all. They should feel like they are better than anyone.... and let the other team prove it...and beat the wiz

Beal is going for 'Player of the Month' honors. So far his March numbers have been amazing:
7 GP | 36 MP | .53 FG% | .48 3PT% | .88 FT% | 4 REB | 3.7 AST | 1.4 TO | 28 PPG | 27.8 USG% | 129 ORtg

Agreed. Even though John's numbers looked better, Brad carried us in a few games last week and singlehandedly sparked our comeback in the Nuggets and Blazers games. Also took over the Sacramento game

Shame he hasn't gotten any individual credit for this season, but he will if they keep winning.

That block on Lillard was even crazier than the Kawhi Leonard block on Harden, in crunch time he just separated himself from the 3 other elite guards on the floor and while my personal preference goes to Beal, John was the only one on the floor who could make that play.

One of either Wall or Beal should make an All-NBA team.

Beal deserved to make the All-Star team and has taken his game to another level after the snub. If you count Harden as a SG he is the only one who has a case over Beal. The Wizards surge in the standings should bring more notice among the press voters.

Maybe we need a thread to rank best back courts in NBA??

..i think John gets All NBA team this year...which I think makes him eligible for the supermax right? Which we need to do if we go deep in the playoffs!

More than Brad deserving it, Wall is getting it...he knows that his team only goes as far as his "side kick" can take them. Its interesting how John getting this now will help Beal and Wall fight off the urge to have a WestBrook and Durant break up when they both reach thier primes...

Good days ahead of us guys!
