They were yelling at each other earlier, maybe the bromance is crumbling.

They'll make up before the next game

EP is filling it up again, building value in case we need a trade, and Mario is starting to figure things out. He is giving us a steady 8-12 PPG off the bench now. I think that will grow into 12-15 or so next season.

Just a fantastic loss for us,really proud of the young guys tonight and our vets sucked nice and hard to keep the tank going.

This. The young guys balled out again. EP with another TD, AG with his avg of 16-17ppg again, Vuc being Vuc. I've been disappointed in Ross. We have gone completely away from him. Either him or Fournier need to be a bench commander next season. Hopefully Fournier

That Anthony Tolliver 3 just started Josh Jackson, Isaac or Tatum.

This makes up for the Bulls win.

Bring in Jackson or Tatum.

I know it's pointless to mention this, since coaches will never stop doing it, but it annoys me how coaches in this situation will still call the final timeout and waste everyone's time. The logic behind it is that even though the game is out of reach, it's good to get practice in these scenarios. But the reality is, it's not real practice, because the opposing defense isn't actually playing real defense against you. Like what we saw there. The only way the Kings can possibly lose the game is if they foul a 3 point shooter and then surrender an offensive rebound on the intentional FT miss that could force OT. So they're deliberately not even going to be within arm's reach of the shooter. There's no point in playing out that scenario because it's not actually replicating a real end-of-game scenario. All it does is waste our time and make us suffer more watching our lame coach call a stupid timeout.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Great tank loss. Paytons basically a walking triple double since the all star break. Its easy to forget sometimes that this kid is still only 22. If we draft a SF im all for keeping Elf as our starting pg. Especially if its a sf like Tatum or Isaac that can help stretch the floor.

Fun trivia fact. We're the only team in the league with the same win/loss record (12-22) at home and on the road.

He could have a triple double every game left and we will still go after a shooting PG this offseason unless we land Fultz or Ball. I would love EP as our bench PG in that Shaun Livinsgton role. For EP to be our starting PG, the 2,3,4 need to be elite 3 point shooters....Which they are nowhere near.

I like EP and love the effort lately but no way we stay with him as our starter with this non-shooting starting lineup.

YUP! He is showing out now! a mid range jumper, floater etc away from being a pretty darn good player!

p.s. why is there bickering on the board.... lol..... This is probably going to be one of the biggest tank losses for this final stretch of the season. was a fun game to watch...... and we just fell short. I can sleep very soundly tonight. haha

I wouldn't be against that but imo a Elf/Ross/Tatum/AG/Vuc lineup would be a good situation for Elf to thrive in. It would allow us to get out on the break and for payton to keep playing in the open court which is where he thrives. It would require AG to get his shooting percentages up for them to be playoff worthy but I think he could with another offseason under his belt.

Im not sure what guards are going to be on the market. Holiday is almost certainly staying in New Orleans on a five year max. Hill is 90% going to stay with the Jazz as they already tried to sign him to an extension. That leaves Teague and Patty Mills who will most likely stay with their teams or come here on a big overpay. I doubt any of those guys would even consider Orlando in its current state anyways. I dont see many options if we have to look on the market this summer.

Fantastic loss! With a potential high draft pick this could be the start of the rebirth of the Magic!

We just lost to a team resting half their team. It's okay though, it's not like we used up all our cap space.

So why did Vogel run plays for Ross the first two games he was here but now solely has him shooting spot up threes?

I need to buy a Payton jersey for the start of next season.
And a Payton hair wig to fully pimp the look.

His will be the first Magic jersey I've bought since Türkoğlu.
Which btw, I'm still annoyed that it did not come with the special characters above the "u" and "g". ;)

Because Ross has been terrible nearly his whole time here?
