I want Solomon Thomas. Think he is the next JJ Watt.

What makes you think he's the next watt?

Something that makes me thinks he's not the next watt or worth the third is that he was blocked one on one a lot more than you would wanna thrid overall pick to be.

Allen was not only double teamed a lot, he destroyed the double teams. He's also far better at actual football stuff like stopping the run and rushing the passer. I don't get how someone can think Thomas is better than Allen.

Still a handful of good RT available. Cherilous, Bell, Smith, Vollmer. And maybe we'll still add Patterson as a returner.

This draft is supposedly weak for O-line men though. Also you wouldn't take TJ Watt?

I would but He's most likely going 1st or 2nd and I think it's more important to take Allen and a WR/T in those rounds.

He's an animal w a ridiculous motor and constant pursuer. Similar build and combo is size speed and strength to Watt. Pace always drafts the athletic freak early on and goes for the high ceiling pick. I will be surprised if he goes Allen over Thomas. I like Allen too but I think Thomas will take over games.

IMO, pretty much a meh off-season. Will have to see young players develop/internal growth for this team to start playing well.

Hopefully Pace adds quality players in this draft.

The addition of Prince, Cooper, and Demps makes this off-season really good to me. For it to be great we'd would have to sign a superstar which we obviously didn't do. Pace did a great job of filling out the roster with quality depth and role players along with a couple legit starters. These, in addition to the draft i planned out, I think we contending for the division.

The packers got worse, the Vikings stayed the same, and the lions improved but only on the oline.

Is Aaron Rodgers still wearing Yellow and Green? Yes, so that means they are still vastly better than the Bears. Plus they added a really good target in Bennett (plus he's a good blocker too).

Vikings staying the same means they are still better than the Bears until proven otherwise and the Lions were better last year and as stated, they got better.

Bears are still the worst team in the division at this moment.

http://cle.247sports.com/Bolt/Joe-Haden-on-the-trade-market-51773262

He's been "available" for a few seasons now. I don't think they've been serious in the past and especially not now since Hue Jackskn is the coach. At this point I'd give up a 4th or 3rd plus a later pick for him.

This draft is deep for DBs. Why give up assets for this one?

Likelihood of getting a CB as good as Haden is slim to none, especially in the later rounds. If all it takes is a third or fourth then clearly you do it.

Probably because the browns have been asking for too much

Good reads at www.dabearsblog.com Been reading there awhile and I like their approach and thinking.

I think they go Allen or Thomas at 3. Wait to sign Jimmy G next summer when he's a FA. Glennon becomes the backup QB after next season unless he turns into Brees and we keep him.

Bears need be at least 8-8 this season and Pace knows it.

Pace needs to hit on the picks in this next draft. No more "Kevin Whites"...

Return to Chicago Bears
