It's perilous and uncertain times for the Spurs, as health concerns overshadow the fact that we could pull even with the conference-leading Warriors tonight. LaMarcus Aldridge's ongoing heart issues remind us that there are more important things in life than basketball; meanwhile, Kawhi Leonard remains in concussion protocol at the time of this writing, and his availability for tonight's tilt against the Hawks is unknown. What is known is that Tony Parker and Dejounte Murray will both sit, so both our frontcourt and our backcrout are going to be undermanned.
The Hawks, meanwhile, have no major injury concerns, so this could be an interesting challenge for the good guys. Atlanta's riding a three-game win streak and is looking to pick up a little ground on the Raptors for inclusion in the East's top-half of playoff seeds, and they'll surely try to pounce while the Spurs are weakened.
