Game 67: Pistons (33-33) @ Cavaliers (43-22) - 7 PM EST

Post#1 » by whitehops » Mon Mar 13, 2017 7:15 pm

we beat them a few days ago but this time we'll be in their house... not an easy place to win. even in their recent slump (they've lost six of their last nine), most of those losses are coming on the road.

with the playoff race getting so tight winning at least one of the next two games is pretty key. playing the cavs on the road and then a back to back vs. the jazz is a tough two nights.

let's go pistons!

Please feel the need to sit this one out, LeBron. For my Pistons and my fantasy team.

It's the Cavs' third game in four nights, with a game at home vs. Utah on Thursday and then in L.A. vs. the Clippers on Saturday. Resting LeBron and Kyrie would spare them the 3-in-4 grind and give them a stretch of three days off in a row.

DO IT, LUE!!!

C'mon Stones! Show heart, hustle, and grind. If we play like that giving energy for as long as it takes, we win.

I'm mad about the b2b against Utah. I see two losses, I hope we steal one of those.

On the road with Tobias possibly being out. Not a good outlook.

If Tobias is truly out and Stanley doesn't step up, this is most assuredly a loss.

Where are you guys seeing that Tobias might not play? All I saw yesterday was that he missed some practice but was expected to play, has there been any updates?

I'll be super happy if we can get one win between the two to stay at .500... I think these next two will be a big test for us but after that we have a stretch of mostly winnable games... I think have have a decent chance of going 5-1 the next 6 games or at least 4-2.

Vs Raptors (Home game for us, Toronto is on a B2B for them... Raptors without their all-star PG)
Vs Suns (Lottery Team)
@ Brooklyn (Worst team in NBA)
@ Chicago (B2B but team has really been struggling as of late)
@ Orlando (Lottery Team)
@ New York (Lottery Team with us on 2 days rest)

Gotta survive these next 3 with at least 1 win and then have a nice stretch of favorable games to pull ahead a bit.

By the way, the start is apparently 6 eastern, not 7. Weird. I'm on the west coast and can actually watch the game before leaving for work around 5:45.

just realized that if we win this game we'll win the season series vs. the cavs. for one of our wins they were lebron-less, but still.

We're gonna get blown out in the first. The final score might closer than it really is if our bench does something in garbage minutes, but this isn't going to be a game.
