I honestly wonder how many of those fan photos they show on Nets on YES are faked.

The bench just didn't do enough tonight to many turnovers and bricks from the bench I thought the starting 5 more than held there own.

If the Nets are looking for a defensive big man C imo they should take a hard look at Kyle O'Quinn whenever he gets quality minutes he gives production and is a physical presence/above average interior defender and the Knicks are moving towards playing WHG and Zinger together.

On the plus side LeVert just doing some insane good stuff on the court this year's draft seems like it has a lot of quality "sleeper" type players that will go on to be quality above average starters/potential All-Stars like LeVert, Nuggets Hernangomez, Brogdan and Skal.

We definitely need an upgrade at the 4. I like Acy and Booker off the bench but we still need an upgrade.

RHJ at the 4 works only with certain match ups but to me that means RHJ is a role player, or bench player. Nothing wrong with that.

Lin, Levert, and Lopez are the only starter level players we have. Hopefully we can add some more next season.

Also, I absolutely love the way our offense has been playing lately. We still don’t play 100% of the time that way but we are getting more consistent and sustaining it for longer periods which indicates team growth. Gotta give massive props to kenny and his staff for that. My only grief against Kenny is his minutes distribution system. I wish he would play our best 3 players closer to 30 mpg than 20mpg. But overall I am super happy with the overall job by Markinson. Solid year 1 of the rebuild.

On radio they said both lin and Levert were on minutes restrictions.

GG all, really like LeVert. He bounced back really nicely from being hurt.

Did it bother you to see people wearing Curry's jersey when they game to OKC?

Can't get too upset at the loss, the Nets played their game for the most part. OKC played physical on defense without fouling and won the rebound battle by a large margin.

I would have almost preferred Russell a statline of 60/1/10 rather than a triple dub and just go under screens every time, at least during the first half.

Kenny said it would be a good test to gauge where we stand as a team. Well we were thoroughly out-sized and out-talented but did battle hard enough to keep up for 3 quarters.

No, I wear my Paul George jersey to road games too.

I'm more annoyed that Nets fans were not there cheering loud for the Nets team.

Yeah RHJ is a role guy not a starter.... but i do think his positon is PF.... he is clearly better in that role.

Definitely not a starter but I'm not sure he's good enough to be a bench PF, I mean even most bench PF's will abuse him on the boards and in the post. I think his position should be sf, he just needs to get some NBA/college skills

It's a combination of both. New rebranded and underachieving franchise moved into the territory of a franchise that is consistently underachieving. Fans have no alternative in both boroughs. You have a dysfunctional organization with all-stars (no superstar) and a franchise rebuilding from the same place the Knicks are currently in. I think a lot of people forget NY has always loved superstars. LeBron, Melo, Kobe, Rose all were cheered in MSG during the D'antoni era when stars could put up crazy stats against their D. Same thing in 2017 for BOTH franchises. It looks worse for us because we are much worse, fans are losing interest in cheering for a 12 win team in March. Shocker.

It's a different story if we hear Isaiah Thomas MVP chants or something.

This doesn't really add up considering who he has played against at the 4 and how he has performed.

In 2017 BKN is +5.4 with RHJ and Whitehead on the floor, Booker and Harris off (224 minutes)....removing Foye yields similar results. When RHJ and Whitehead are off? BKN is a whopping -11.3 (469 minutes).

Which is basically another way of saying RHJ @ PF + competent PG + NBA players =

THIS. My dad(a Nix fan) was always pissed at this

NYC has a ton of people from other states AND has a fair amount of fair weather fans, so this kind of thing will always happen to the Nets/Knicks.

I was so proud of how this team competed against the physical Thunder and through the bad calls and just as disgusted by the home fans cheering and chanting for Westbrook. Maybe I'm old school but how can any real Nets fan not get behind these guys who play so hard?
