Just finished giving a 25 minute presentation on a new antibiotic. Lots of stress presenting that in front of 50 students and faculty. Beers will be drunk. Basketball is very welcome tonight.

when i had my sepsis incident,they bombarded me with some antibiotic that i had never seen in my life.my mother took a picture of it when i was in the ER but thank God it was effective.otherwise i could have been either dead or severely incapacitated

Also, if your driving tonite pls keep track of your Real Beer Plus Minus (RBPM.)
Dont use PER, its a crap analytic when drinking, especially ipa's.

I remember you talking about that, ehf. Glad you pulled through. Sepsis is scary stuff. Your body does strange things in the presence of bacteria, and sepsis is dangerous. Your body stops working right and you can go into shock. The survival rate of those instances isn't what you'd want it to be. You did good.

As far as the antibiotic goes, it could have been a few different things. Depends on what type of bacteria you were dealing with. Sounds like they figured it out, and got you right as rain.

I'm in pharmacy school, Gopher. I will be a doctor once I finish. That presentation today was a big hurdle that had been looming over me for a while. You have to know your stuff, or you'll get eaten up. The infectious diseases expert was grading me, and I got a thumbs up from him. Very relieved.
