Again. Wait until after the draft. Bledsoe has done everything asked of him. It sends the wrong message to trade him now.

Bledsoe's performance gets overlooked because there are other guards putting up video game numbers left and right this season, but he's been playing some fantastic ball this year.

Over the last 23 games his stats are great:
23.7 pts (on 16.8 FGA and 8.5 FTA), 7.2 ast, 4.7 reb, 1.2 stl, 3.7 tov, .430 FG%, .368 3P%, .882 FT%, .579 TS% in 34.7 mpg

These are very similar numbers to MVP Rose in 2011:
25.0 pts (on 19.7 FGA and 6.9 FTA), 7.7 ast, 4.1 reb, 1.0 stl, 3.4 tov, .445 FG%, .332 3P%, .858 FT%, .550 TS% in 37.4 mpg

I wouldn't even think about trading Bledsoe until we are 110% sure that we have a viable replacement for him. Players like Bled are super hard to obtain.

McDonough still likes the 3 PG concept, I've heard him correct people who said it didn't work, saying we were 28-20 and the only problem was Dragic and Thomas attitude.

So if we draft Fultz, Ball, Smith, Ntilikina I'd expect he'd run that system again and hope the players go along with it.

I do think that Lonzo Ball could play with Bled and Booker-not so much three on the floor at the same time, but in a three guard rotation. It could be a potent trio for a year or two and then a trade would have to happen.

I won't say to bench these guys, but their minutes should be reduced to prevent possible injury.

I think Bledose is feeling it in his knees after playing the entire season. Good sign for everyone that his knees held up. Now we need to give him that much needed rest he deserves :)

It will be interesting to see if his knees can hold up for two seasons in a row.

According to Gambo we're shutting down Bled for the season, this tank just got some new armor

Well, I guess what many fans wanted, particularly because of his injury history.

Too early IMO.

It's gonna be interesting to watch Ulis starting. We need Bender to come back and play the last ten games of the season.

I mean why not? It doesnt do Eric or the Suns any good to be out there. No other way around it.

Well it does to Bledsoe bad if the goal is to draft his replacement.....sending him to another lotto team so we can draft a PG.

BUT....i dont think that's the goal. Benching him to tank means to me that we are looking at drafting Jackson. We have more faith in a draft pick, and by drafting someone like Jackson we are plugging him into the SF slot with Warren either moving to the bench or being traded.

Give Bledsoe the promise of staying if he rests for the rest of the season.

I could be wrong, and we are keeping him healthy so we can trade him for a pick and keep him happy sending him to a potential playoff team.

If I were guessing our FOs big board it'd be Fultz, Ball, Jackson, Fox.

Which means they would know there's a good chance they'll draft a PG.

So they have to plan ahead with scenarios with what they'll do with 4 PGs on the roster, the action taken is to sit Bledsoe.
