The Brewers may have a better record but they aren't the better team, but I will admit they have the pieces to be really really good in the future.

Good Thing Ned Yost is losing games on purpose so the Cubs will still win the division.

Interseting. What is the cubs Record against Plus .500 teams and what is the brewers record.

Where do the cubs/brewers rank in runs scored and runs against.
Where do the cubs/brewers rank in Team pitching.

Traditionally all those #'s added up usually will let you know the better team. So go look and than make statements.

So as soon as I prove my point I am considered being a troll or something. All we were doing here was having a civil talk about the race and about our teams. And it is a problem to you because why???

I was under the impression that he made the topic to see if people had a problem with brewer fans on cubs boards and vica versa.

So please enlighten me.

Kind of funny that he'd say that though.

Yeah, the Brewers have scored more runs (446 v. 421), but go ahead and look at the other stats.

Cubs have allowed less runs (379 v. 405). Difference of 26 runs, which kind of negates the fact that the Brewers have scored more runs.

Team batting, Cubs: .270, Brewers .265

Team pitching, Cubs ERA: 3.89, Milwaukee: 4.10. Cubs have the second-lowest BAA, Brewers are 6th.

Brewers have committed more errors (66 v. 52)

I could really go on and on. They mentioned this on ESPN so you picked a bad time to contend that the numbers were in the Brewers favor whatsoever. Look at the stats yourself, they tell an entirely different story.

Neither is 3.5 games.

Oh and don't throw out sarcastic nick-names like "boss" if we are having a civil conversation.

See, this isn't that bad. As long as the back-and-forth is about the teams and players instead of personal insults, we're all cool.

I like this page to look at standings and what teams "should" have in terms of wins and losses. Its as tight as a virgin in the NL central right now.

I think the banter is good and fun. I've lived in Milwaukee my whole life and am a fan of both teams...it was easy when they were in different leagues. Obviously when it comes down to it I'm cheering for the Cubs but it's fun to post on both boards.
As a big Milwaukee Bucks fan I see the same posters over there that also post on the Brewers board.
I just want to warn everyone that at times these same posters may tend to take things more personal than the average poster. There isn't anything necessarily wrong with that but it can/might turn a little ugly at times.

Can't we all just get along?

Are you really asking "Sewers" and "Scrubs" fans to get along right now? Good luck.
