Brenda Frese still isn't a great coach IMO.

THEY WILL NOT MAKE THE FINAL FOUR

(Bet the Lady Terps lose in the Sweet 16 or sooner).

She's a great recruiter and a decent game coach. I think they'll get farther than the Sweet 16 but you might be right. Not a big fan of hers as a game-coach and I think she's lost a lot of good assistants (to head coaching jobs), including the guy that went to Louisville.

I think Brenda isn't that smart. (She insists on riding a few players 35-40 minutes despite having MANY 5 star and 4 star recruits). She plays favorites. (Conroy plays way too many minutes)

I hate that Frese gets great players only to have many of them transfer.

She won't even make it to U Conn this tournament.

Staiti isn't in shape. I expect her to be much better once she reshapes her body.

Brianna Jones was the same way when she arrived at Maryland.

As for Confroy, I'm with you.

So she's a horrible coach because Geno outcoached her? You mean the best coach in the history of the sport? Part of coaching is recruiting and she's arguably the best in the sport at that. And yes, she is not in his class as a gamecoach. While I agree that she's not great, I also can't take the championship and Finals Fours away from here. My assumption is that her staff is not as strong as it once was..

I didn't say horrible coach. I think she coaches very poorly in the biggest games. She plays a short bench and insists on having Conroy on the floor. It is extremely demotivating to play some women 38 minutes and others none. It would be MUCH SMARTER to extend the defenses and to substitute liberally.

Well that didn't happen today in the 103-61 win over Bucknell. She's obviously using the No. 3 seed as a motivating factor, though killing poor Bucknell isn't going to matter in the long run.I hope she proves everybody wrong.

Disappointing exit for Maryland women again. Didn't see it so I can't comment other than what I heard. Shaky play at point guard, poor perimeter shooting and shoddy defense. Big 10 softness doesn't help. Sounds like BF will need to improve her non-conference schedule. Have to play more than just UConn to prepare for NCAA. She said something to the effect of this NCAA Tournament game won't define our season. Ask Bill Self. Or any other men's coach that flamed out in the NCAA Tournament. Unfortunately, in the men's game, that's how you are defined. Should be no double standards

Frese is an overrated coach.

80s, I'm going to be REAL SPECIFIC.

1. BRENDA FRESE RUINED THE FRESHMEN SEASONS OF SEVERAL 5-STAR RECRUITS.

Look at all those zeroes fro Staiti, Watson, and Myers. Small was a transfer who only played 2 minutes in the last game.

2. BRENDA FRESE DID NOT PLAY JONES OR FRASER ENOUGH MINUTES.

Look their production in 11 and 15 minutes, respectively. Seven for seven FGS.

3. BRENDA FRESE PLAYED FOUR PLAYERS 35 MINUTES PLUS. WHAT AN IDIOT!!!

FORTY DAMNED MINUTES TO CONROY, WHO DID NOT SCORE.



I said before the tournament she's a weak coach who won't even make it to U Conn. Her team lost by THIRTEEN POINTS TO A TEAM THAT LOST 13 GAMES.

Why? Because Brenda can''t coach beyond playing favorites. Brenda IS DUMB because after all these years she doesn't understand INTERJECTING MANY PLAYERS FOR A FEW MINUTES AT A TIME TO GET THE ENERGY GOING.

I HATE BAD COACHING.


Brenda Frese is a chump as far as I'm concerned.

I hope those girls who didn't get to play this season TRANSFER. I SEE WHY LEXI BROWN LEFT.
