I was a few rows up from those dudes. Some of them had Knicks jerseys on but they were cheering Lin on. In fact, Lin got a nice pop from the crowd every time he scored.![]()
There were more than a few Nets fans in the house. The Knicks fans in our row were pretty pissed. It was funny seeing people say Levert and Acy were garbage and then when they hit shots they were like wtf???people seriously only look at our record and assume that everyone on the team sucks. The three kids definitely turned heads tonight with their excellent play.
It felt good, first NBA game i had been to in awhile at MSG, they really fixed the place up nice. Great amenities, clean as a whistle. It was clutch that they had a dunkin donuts right outside of the entrance from my section (lower 100) because i needed the ice coffees. The Nets really have no idea how much easier it is for New Jersey fans to attend Knicks games as opposed to going through a hassle to get to Barclays, nor do they care but that's why people cheer more for the opposing team than the Nets in their own arena. I'll be definitely buying Nets vs. Knicks tix next year for sure, the Nets may never get me to attend a game again at their home arena until they start making the playoffs. It's not worth the time to go to an arena where they care nothing about us long time Nets fans and make no concessions to make traveling there easier.
Just curious, what would Barclays need to do to make the fan experience better? One thing I didn't like when I went there was waiting in line outside before the game.
My complaint is mainly the travel inconvenience for NJ fans.
