If Boston (with all their picks) or the Clippers (with Griffin) don't swoop in and claim George as their own, I see no reason why this dream can't become a reality.

I feel like if we get lucky enough to land the second pick in the draft, I don't see Magic johnson picking Josh Jackson over Lonzo Ball. Even though I would.

Trust me, Magic knows what this team needs, and right now they need a guy like Jackson.

You could be right, but if they're legitimately gathering nuts in preparation for Paul George, they have to be thinking of proper ways to build around him.

Ball is dynamic, but Jackson (with George) has a legitimate chance to be very, very special.

Dude before injury. Grant hill was scary good. Length to play defense. Athleticism. Excellent mid range jumper. Had handles. Could guard multiple positions. Could play multiple positions.

Yep, and as a freshman, to me, he wasn't as impactful as Jackson is right now. Granted, Duke did have multiple players entrenched in their roles, so it would've been more difficult for Hill, as a freshman, to assert himself.

Very fun game to watch between SMU and USC. Was impressed with Ojeleye and was wishing I could see more of him and possibly target him with the Houston Pick this year.

With all the talk that athleticism is not a necessity for greatness, just remember it sure doesn't hurt.

Josh Jackson off to a very good start.

Athleticism plus will is a powerful combination folks. Ask MJ and Bron.

Jayson Tatum looks really good out there. I wouldn't be surprised if he turns into a star player.

+1 on this. Hill was not a flashy type of player but pre-ankle injuries he was the probably the best all around player in the NBA. He lost his prime 4 years to the ankle injuries and was never the same after that stretch.

Athleticism is great but without a sound fundamental game underneath it's tough in the NBA. Randle's struggles are not in his athleticism but in his lacking of fundamentals 90% of the time. On the flip side Zubac is not going to get confused with the athletic bigs of the NBA but at 19 he's showing he belongs and can be very good because of a full toolbox of fundamentals and understanding of the game.

I'm always leery of the athletic freaks. In college you play against maybe 3 players in an entire season that will be great NBA players. In the NBA you play against 1 or 2 every night. The separation you see because of athleticism in college typically disappears in the Pros and your left with skills, fundamentals and BBIQ. Learning fundamentals in the NBA is nearly impossible.

WTS, players like MJ, Bron and even Shaq the skills + Athleticism + intangible players are the ones who dominate eventually in the Pros. It takes a mix for sure.
