I usually try and promote these things best I can without getting too annoying, but there was a Global Announcement (I know many don't notice these) and put in my sig and actually unstickied the global announcement to the general board and moved to every team forum leaving shadows the night before.

So there were shadows everywhere. Unfortunately, after that, I re-stickied as Global Announcement and all those shadow threads disappeared....live an learn I guess... :dontknow:

I had Villanova beating Oregon in the championship. So I'm out.

You can do a second chance bracket I just set up...starts with sweet 16. I might as well too since I picked Nova. Not sure how many I can get for this one.

Well, so far we have a number of people with great totals and/or great PPR (Possible Points Remaining), and of the top 7 or 8, most all picked different champions, so it should be interesting.

swisscheeseD with 620 points so far with a potential 720 remaining, ranking in the 99.3 percentile of all participants (over 13.3 million brackets) - Championship pick - UNC

DEEP3CL also with 620 points so far with a potential 720 remaining, ranking in the 99.3 percentile of all participants (over 13.3 million brackets) - Championship pick - UCLA

One entry who doesn't match a user with 600 points so far with a potential 720 remaining, ranking in the 97.8 percentile of all participants (over 13.3 million brackets) - Championship pick - Oregon

rowseyna with 590 points so far with a potential 960 remaining, ranking in the 96.5 percentile of all participants (over 13.3 million brackets) - Championship pick - Gonzaga

fouronesix22 with 590 points so far with a potential 720 remaining, ranking in the 96.5 percentile of all participants (over 13.3 million brackets) - Championship pick - UNC

orlandojnf with 580 points so far with a potential 800 remaining, ranking in the 94.6 percentile of all participants (over 13.3 million brackets) - Championship pick - Kansas

kennydorglas with 570 points so far with a potential 1040 remaining, ranking in the 89 percentile of all participants (over 13.3 million brackets) - Championship pick - Florida

Kind of surprising that out of 98 participants, only one person chose a national championship matchup of NC/Gonzaga, particularly since they were two #1 seeds.

At first look I was thinking the only one missed was UC Davis (strange bold pick), but I guess there were more, examining for all the red lettering as opposed to the crossed out names.

Had Oregon won last night I would have jumped into the top 5 or so at the time, but would have been finished with 890, as I had them in the championship. I did get two of the final four correct, but unfortunately picked Nova to win it.

I guess since the championship game is worth 320, if NC wins, six people will jump you, however you will still finish above some who did pick UNC. swisscheeseD would win it in this case.

If Gonzaga wins, all six people who picked Gonzaga would finish ahead of swisscheeseD and he would finish 7th as well.

So for both of you, this game means 1st or 7th place.

If winner wants, they can get their rank listed under their username to day RealGM NCAA Tournament Bracket Champ or something like that, not sure exactly how it would fit, because there are character limits, but I usually ask Howard to change it to that or something...I do it for all Suns competitions and our RealGM NFL Pick competition.

I was looking for a little more creative control then that, but I guess it'll do.

Oh well, if I don't get to win at least it was on such an ugly game as that.

Well it should have something to do with winning the RealGM Bracket Challenge at least. If you have any better ideas or preferences involving that, let me know.

Bracket Challenge

So I was 50/100 position wise after the sweet sixteen but climbed my way back to tie with Bondom for 8th.

And although I got the Gonzaga part wrong (Villanova really went out fast haha) I predicted North Carolina winning 71-65 and that's exactly what they did haha!
