I had no clue the Pistons played today. I was busy watching the Spartans crash and burn against Kansas. How'd the Pistons look?

We looked really bad the first three quarters against a really bad suns team without their best 3 players and then we started to actually play in the 4th and ended up winning.

This Drummond game could be an example of what he could be against the Celtics in Playoffs. That's our perfect chance to sell him high on draft night.

Draft the guy with most potential to be a first reference, and let KCP grow like a second reference.

We need a player to start through him some plays in the high post. A high IQ big man, maybe an euro because they're being great doing that sh*

I'm still squeemish about pinning our hopes on another rookie. Aside from the hit or miss possibility you are still talking about several more years of development. I don't want to be that team which is constantly rebuilding.

But you want to be a perennial 6-7-8 seed? And I mean, I'm not that guy who wants to destroy it all, but we have very few chances to reach the next level if it's not developing a young prospect into a star. I'm convinced KCP has that potential, but we need to build the team to maximize his strengths.

Could you imagine how G O O D he could be defending a pick n roll with Gobert, Marc or DeAndre besides him?

And not be a hater, because Drummond was GREAT tonight, but he's so match-up dependant, and he use to struggle against great teams (pretty much like our whole team, to be fair).

It's just the attitude and desire to win the thing which scares me more of him, and his poor comprehension of the game. If he would have developed his game just a tiny bit from last year, I wasn't complaining about him, because he has obvious limitations in terms of intelligence, and I can understand his development could be slower than other guys'. But he has regressed after a BIG contract, and his body language is like he doesn't care about win or lose the game.

Even if I really don't like CP3, and I think he's overrated because he hasn't reached the next level in Playoffs consistently, I really admire his desire to win. He cheats, he flops, he's sometimes embarrassing and I can hate that guy, but you MUST to appreciate he could do WHATEVER to win.

If someone can read the future and tell me Dre would keep improving his game and attitude, I have no problem to keep him even if he never turns into a star.

But as a BAD BOY fan, I want muhfu* right there on the court. I want guys who you can see the hate in his sight against the opponent. The australian guys, the tough guys, Morris, those guys are always on my team. But if you're joking with the opponent losing by 20 and smiling, you better be an MVP candidate who can afford that luxury.

he wasn't. his stats were.

Baynes was great and did everything needed to turn the momentum.

Yeah I'm the guy who thinks we should be trade Drummond for a high pick and re-sign Baynes, but Dre effort was better than other nights and he showed he can be a good pick n roll defender if he's focused. Anyway, I think we shouldn't extract conclusions from a win against a D-League team.

I thought we were limited in what we could offer Baynes even if we wanted to pay him like a starting C?? It's like the Memo situation after we won it all in 2004.

i don't know why but this play frustrates me quite a bit. when he goes around the screen, even if he doesn't look at the three point line, he should be staring at four defenders, all of them in the paint. that alone should kind of clue him in that there's one or two guys wide open.

he obviously made his mind up before the screen what he was going to do but still man...

i saw morris put his hands up but missed SJ pointing at morris at the same time lol. how reggie didn't see either morris or SJ is just beyond me.
