Yeah but it's not like he asked to get injured or is willingly quitting on the team. His knees are screwed, not much he can do.

That's too harsh imo. Parsons is not the kind of guy who will sit home and cry about his season. He is a young, good looking millionaire, it is what it is. He shouldn't be praised, but he shouldn't be hated either. He admitted that right now, he totally sucks, but unlike what you claim, he was actually a very good, borderline All-Star player at his best. Unless you compare him to the Lebrons or Currys of the world, that's pretty decent. Unfortunately it looks like injuries derailed him for good.
