ccj, i think you'll be happy with the hyundai. as miller mentioned above, hyundai (along with Kia) are poised to start dominating the SUV market soon - same Korean billionaire owns both companies (i believe). they're offering 100,000 mile warranties now, which is insane. And, as you said, the whole satellite/blue-tooth/iPod package is righteous. Me and the missus have our eye on a sportage ourselves. Best of luck to you, both with the car and with your health.

I assume all Hawaiians drive Jeep Wranglers with the soft top, unless otherwise stated

Edge is a great vehicle.

I was a Ford engineer, once.

:D

Same old Hyundai Sante Fe.

Practically living in my car TBH.

It was a good decision -- but, I STILL like the Nissan XTerra's look better.

Lots of trucks. Ford's with big LOUD ASSED ENGINES! :nonono: F350s. Lots of Toyota Takoma TROs (which always make me think of Temporary Restraining Orders :noway: )

Lots of Jeep Wranglers, for sure. A lot of people surf, spend time at the beach, and camp out (some living virtually homeless/rent-free). Yes, you're right that a lot of Hawaiians drive them, AFM.

I see plenty SUVs in the neighborhood I (struggle) to live in.

I am, Swami.

My dad, before he passed, suggested it for the engine warranty. It's been dependable if not sexy or really ME.

I was wondering why my nav system keeps trying to direct me to Ben Wa's House of Tantric Pleasure.

I have a VW Tiguan 4-Motion, the gas mileage is terrible, but I can't stand driving anything bigger.
