Isn't Russell starting at the two for the rest of the year?

I think for the first time ever I'll be cheering for the Clippers. But the way Lakers are playing I can see them winning this???

Going to be a high scoring game 115+ points

He probably will start at the two today, but Luke Walton said he wanted to change the starting lineup one more time before the season ends.

I'm guessing Luke wants to test Nance out as a starter with that last lineup change. Nance would excel in a bigger role imo. I think with how injury prone he is Nance has a 28mpg ceiling during the course of an 82 game season.

Yeah that's who i'm hoping he starts, but I don't see Randle going to the bench. Maybe they'll start together, and I really don't know how I feel about that.

No I don't think Nance will. Nance reminds me a lot of Jordan Hill. Great role player great energy rebound/defensive type of player etc, but can't handle a full 30+ plus. Nance I think would be best around 20 min a game at both C and PF spots maybe split 10/10?

Agree. Nance plays that real high-octane game. Already missed 20 games this season. Get's lots of ankle / wrist / eye injuries out there. Has run-ins with the floor too much. Great bench guy.

Well, ever since we drafted Nance I've always likened him to Tan Gibson. Gibson is a hard nosed power forward that's only averaged over 27 mpg twice in his career. I think that's where Nance's ceiling is, but I do think every once and a while Nance will have those off the chart games where he's putting up 15+pts and 15+rbs.

I'm can't remember exactly how long the medication lasts, but I do know Nance needs an injection I think every 6 weeks to battle crohn's disease. He said in an interview that he feels his energy levels dip as he reached the end of the 6 weeks. Just knowing that is what tempers my expectations for him.

I still think he will eventually take the starting spot from randle. Nance has a much better jumper and he's improving from 3. Defensively Nance was in the 76th percentile and randle was in the 26th (I think). I hate to be another dumb Later fan making another comparison to the warriors, but I would liken the switch from randle to Nance as the same move in essence as when Kerr benched David Lee and inserted Desmond into the starting lineup.

Not a stellar start to things tonight. This is one I'd want us to win if we're going to win again this year.
