House intelligence chairman confirms Trump was monitored throughout Obama admin, briefed him in detail today.

The circus continues.

“I have seen intelligence reports that clearly show that the president-elect and his team were, I guess, at least monitored,” Nunes told reporters. “It looks to me like it was all legally collected, but it was essentially a lot of information on the president-elect and his transition team and what they were doing.”

Nunes said he is heading to the White House later Wednesday to brief Trump on what he has learned, which he said came from “sources who thought that we should know it.” He said he was trying to get more information by Friday from the FBI, CIA and NSA.

Absolutely appalling!! What just happened is that Nunes just LEAKED, what he did can be considered obstruction of justice as the investigation is still on-going. He leaked (don't trust his characterization either), in-order to help Trump in the public eye.
Nunes should be forced to resign. Schiff just said that he doesn't know what Nunes is referring to.

So what will happen now is that Trump and his surrogates, will be able to wave this around to minimize the damage to Trumps credibility. Classic disinformation tactic. An Independent Prosecutor is needed immediately to take this over, Nunes cannot be trusted, he was part of the transition team.

He asked Nunes about Carter Page and Roger Stone, two figures whose ties to both Trump’s presidential campaign and Russia have piqued widespread interest and media coverage. Nunes insisted that he wasn’t familiar with either man.

“You haven’t heard of Carter Page and all these other people?” Corn asked.

“No,” Nunes said.

“I mean,” Corn replied, “there were about five names mentioned by the Democrats.”

“I don’t know these people,” Nunes said.

Said an incredulous Corn, “You’ve not heard of Carter Page or Roger Stone?”

“No,” Nunes insisted, “I’ve heard of Manafort,” Trump’s former campaign chairman, who was paid handsomely to do work for a pro-Russia faction in Ukraine, and was later replaced by Trump, apparently due to public controversy over those ties.

Nunes is clearly problematic.

I would think most people would not know who to trust now. Fascinating.

Until further info is provided the answer as to who to trust is easy...and it's not Trump and Nunes. Still no evidence that the FBI, CIA and NSA were lying when they said that Trump nor the Trump Tower were wiretapped or surveilled by Obama for political reasons.

I am actually referring to "most people" that haven't followed this closely. I get that you don't trust the fake President. I don't trust him as far as I can throw an elephant. Nunes would a close 3rd behind many of Trump's cabinet.

But given that - this whole thing is getting confusing. You have to actually pay attention to figure out all the players. Indu is right on this one - it's a circus.

Anyone who watched Schiff yesterday take 15 minutes to further the opinion that Trump was coordinating with Russia, prior to Comey taking a single question during the hearing would assume a fellow rep from California on the Republican side would *not* take it to a clearly biased/near rabid guy like Schiff.

He wasn't interested in facts, just furthering the Russian idiocy....and claiming that Trump's wiretap claim (wiretap FYI doesn't just mean phones, dsl, cable, fiber are also wires people let's not play dumb) was baseless.

Well guess what? It's not baseless. And with a house intel chair saying he and his team were in fact monitored, Trump was being truthful.

So if his internet was surveilled, so were his phones. There is no difference in terms of packet transport. Internet based.

Look as I stated it's a circus. If you expected a 70+ year old to detail the above, that's unrealistic.
