Another rappers record label is the worst to sign to. They don't put in the work because they don't want to be in danger of being out shined. Plus they make more per unit off your work than their own. So they don't need nor want you to come close to them. I've seen it time and time again. I've even seen people sign to a rap artists label and be purposely sabotaged. Even signed for the sole purpose of being shelved. That's why you seen so many rappers on rap artist labels end up at like a Koch records. Which if I'm not mistaken was bought out itself. The music business is real dirty. And with internet now. You don't make no money off your music. The music is essentially your commercial or advertisement now. So that you can use your name and image in other business ventures. Clothes. Drinks. Shows and guest spots. Or the ultimate business venture. Your own label. Where you can make money off of the next man who's trying to build up his name.

Happy for them both, but it's bad for their careers. Eminem hasn't had luck getting anyone's career going.

What about 50's career? Lol

Ja Rule did that.

Meh, Ja was apart of the push but a co-sign from one of LA's best producers ever in Dr. Dre & the biggest white rapper of all time in Eminem for a New York artist, who got shot 9 times & has a named called "50 Cent" was just destiny. Couldn't have scripted a music career break out like that.
