my fear is that Tatum is a replay of Melo, in his iso play that is

or like Tobias Harris

Sooooo your saying you wouldn't want a young Melo that is a more willing passer? As far as Harris I can see the simularities but at this age Tatum is more polished and consistent.

of course i would

my point isnt that he's a young melo
my point is that he's an ISO playing sf

Excellent defense

Dude saw the Witchita St. block and immediately thought he was a lockdown defender.

Do Not Want! Dude is a black hole. Can he shoot? Helz Yeah, but he would much rather go 1 on 3 before passing to an open man. He takes way too many ill advised shots, think BJ, but with a more consistent shot and no passing.

Seems like all of the lotto teams this year are all awful, so need the player. Minny might be the best bet, but they might be more interested in a player (Willy) and a protected pick.

Lets say we take Fox or Knicca Tina with our first pick and Tatum is there with Minny's pick. I think I'd make that trade. You have 3 dudes who complement each other well in different positions.

no team would trade a top ten pick in this draft for a future pick

OT: Can someone tell me why Patrick Ewing wore #3 at the 1991 all star game? My guess is Larry Bird had retiring out of respect?

Lol cheeky, you know we are gonna be top 3 worst next year with Brooklyn, Lakers, Suns rising, us plummeting after more triangle injection

Knicks Fans: Phil, we need a TRUE POINT GUARD :noway: that can play DEFENSE :nonono: and make his teammates better. Phil, do you know why the Knicks keep failing to make the playoffs?

Zen Master: Don't worry Knicks fans. Next season we will utilize the FULL zen power of the TRIANGLE. :-? I promise you it will cure all the Knicks problems and the Knicks will finally be a playoff team again. :o Yes, we will draft players for the triangle regardless of their defensive skills and we will finally get big name free agents to come play triangle ball. I know some versions of the Triangle has failed in the past, but this time I will be teaching it, and the full version of the Triangle will finally take the Knicks to the promise land. As for the DEFENSE, only those who mastered the secret art of the triangle offense will be able to elevate their defensive skills new heights. :) The Zen Master has spoken. :(

I guess we'll have to see how all these top guards perform in individual team workouts when they bring them in.

Him and Pippen probably couldn't come to terms on who should wear 33? Who knows.

This could be put in a few threads.

POR trades CJ
Knicks trade #6 pick / Lee

I wouldn't do it

CJ averages 23 - 4 - 4 and shoots 42% from 3, he'd up those numbers big time on the knicks he'd likely be a 27 - 4 - 6 on the knicks
Spread Em and Dead em.
-Sad DLO is gone
-Allen will become LobCity DJ
-Kyrie will be top 3 for MVP if we get to 50+ wins, he will average 27ppg, 7apg, shooting 50-40-90

Bird is not in the box score did he have a terrible injury in 90 or 91?

I guess that's it. Bird had a DNP in that game.

delvec19 wrote:All I really need is a quote from Phil or Horny saying we're going after a PG in the draft. That would ease my soul at least a little.

So we can have teams trade ahead of us since they know we are targeting a PG? Or the Kings take a PG with their 1st pick knowing we are targeting one? There are no positives and only negatives of Phil making such a statement. It could potentially be the Giants with Leonard Floyd/Conklin all over again smh. :banghead:
