If the Cavs sign both Bogut and Deron Williams will they become almost invincible in a 7 game series?

Congrats, the 2017 champs. With KD down, and likely out for a couple of weeks, could we see San Antonio get HCA? Who would you guys prefer, SA or GS?

Bogut will be the Cav's starting center. I have no doubt. Thompson will be relegated to the second squad, first player off the bench.

I think Bogut makes you better defensively, but he plays only limited minutes. Also remember Durant has stepped up his defensive game and Green is possibly the defensive player of the year. The Dubs play the best swarming defense in the league. The Warriors bench has gelled, so I expect a great finals if we both make it. If the big 4 are healthy and Green stays out of trouble w/ the NBA, its a tossup

Why is Lebron playing 39-40 mins a game? This is unsustainable.

So who replaces Bogut? Larry Sanders gets the first go imo. Could work if his head is right.

Are Cavs stacked enough? Do we have enough help? Is Kyire and Lebron not top 10 players in the league?

Which part isn't fair? That every single team had a chance to pick them up on waivers and passed?

Considering both DWill and Bogut stated their intentions to sign with the Cavs before they cleared waivers, it's clearly rigged. If a team makes it known they want to claim them, they get a call from the agent telling them life will be miserable if they ever have to deal with that agent if you pick up said player. So teams let them go to the contender. This is known and a common practice where the agent basically threatens to negotiate poorly with a team moving forward if they are upset with a certain team. This is the definition of unfair.

How is the Bogut signing working out for you now? Sometimes even when you stack the deck, karma plays the last card.

Blame the team that signed said player and then buys them out. I would rag on the Toronto fan except that they went through their franchise player colluding and leaving the same as us Cavs fans. After that fiasco I personally wont ever feel bad about players coming here to play for a title.
As for you asking about the Bogut injury, I feel worse for Bogut than the Cavs our us fans. As long as we don't face the Spurs in the finals it shouldn't matter as GS is a very small team and wont present problems in the paint for the Cavs.

The Warriors are lucky they had such a tiny contract guy in Curry turn into a star. Otherwise they wouldn't have beeen able to afford Durant.

Everyone is playing by the same rules. And no one is calling the Warriors bad guys due to salary cap it's just the Durant joining the 73 win team thing.

There's always buyouts and teams getting good players for 'free' as you call it.
Sort of odd when a guy paid $10 million per is a tiny contract.. but yeah.. it sure helped. His injuries had been an issue.. and he was not yet an MVP.

Anyhow... the original premise... late season FA adds? If they were a "sure thing" they would not be available. So... POSTSEASON everyone will look for goodies. Obviously the Warriors and Cavs are the current " Super Teams" but....with all the changes to cap rules.. various teams MIGHT close the gap. Boston has the top draft pick and some cap $. ANY team that made it as a top 4 seed MIGHT get lucky. Odds are that for a couple years everyone chases the Warriors and Cavs.
CENSORED... No comment.
