Didn't it seem like this team was turning it around after January? We were starting to string together some wins, build a nice home court record, and climb back into the playoffs. You'd think it would motivate these guys the rest of the way, but apparently not.

Then they collapse these last 7 games. I didn't see too much of a concern with losing to CLE, UTH and TOR, as they had a nice schedule after that period. Am I the only one that didn't see us losing to BKN, CHI and ORL at the beginning of the week? We're a trash road team, but good grief. It's pretty hard to lose all 3 of those games.

There's obviously something rotten going on in that locker room, and SVG has no control over this team. 3 years ago, I was so excited when we got SVG. It's utterly depressing to see where we are now.

Where we are now is obvious IMO:

Dre & RJ on 1 side, everyone else on the other.

Think it's pretty telling that we offered Dre for Cousins and then "towards the beginning of the season" Toronto offered JV & their pick - what prompts Toronto to call?

Then we have the RJ to Minny & RJ to Orlando rumours in addition to NO having internal discussions about RJ

Having failed to move either of them we then hear rumours at the deadline of KCP being shopped...

Pretty obvious that we're not happy with the team & payroll played a part in the KCP deals

So, what's it all mean?

IMO RJ is gone and everyone is on the block

We've seen what this team is capable of when engaged and sadly we've seen this team's capacity to pout and quit. At this point there's very little worth salvaging.

SVG, Bowers, and Gores need to have some serious discussions about the franchise going forward. One thing is sure, you cannot build around RJ & Dre.

That doesn't mean you can't play kids or vets the right way and still lose: Orlando has done that forever

We don't do that at all actually. Most of our game threads are bitching because we play guys like Jeff Green and DJ Augustin more than young guys a lot of nights. Plus the amount of FGAs they conjure up in a stint is incredible.

Doesn't really matter but just saying. We hate that Orlando does the opposite most nights.
