29.3 :o /11.3/4.6/1.6/2 in this week's 3 games(3 wins). With 0.6 turnovers :eyebrows:

I think Giannis is the strongest candidate for the player of the month too.

He does averages his season average which is by itself crazy and he also has the best record in the league 11-3.

He's having 21/7/4 for the month so i don't think he'll do it unless he goes into God mode in the last games of the month.
Team's record is his biggest advantage right now.

On NBA stats I see 22.3/8.1/4.9/1.4/1.9 with only 2.1 turnovers and 58.6% TS in 14 games.
He also has the 3rd best PIE in the league under Lebron(6-5) and Whiteside(8-4) and the best record Giannis (11-3).
All of that with way more games than the normal which means no rest at all.
It's much harder to average 22.3 in 14 games than 25 in 10 and rest.

I think he is the favorite for the player of the month for the east conference.

Even though I'm a Bulls fan I'm in awe of Giannis. He's going to be the best player in the league soon. A consistent jumper, improved handling and a post-up game and it's literally going to be unfair. The Bucks in general have an intriguing team.

I remember during the 2015 Bulls/Bucks playoff series thinking that Milwaukee is going to be deadly one day. Kidd I thought even outcoached Thibodeau during that series but the Bulls won on experience and overall talent.

Bulls are just a lost team right now and unfortunately for them they're going to eat another L tomorrow against the surging Bucks. But damn I would trade the entire team for Giannis.

You guys should have traded butler, not sign wade(let alone rondo) and rebuild this season.
From the moment tou didn't do it, i really don't know what's the plan.
You can rebuild without being a laughing stock(sixers) but you have to aceept the fact that you will not be a PO team for 2-3 seasons.
Best of luck in the future, i grew up in the early '90s with those bulls teams(although i hated your guts when you won the sonics lol)

Mister March speaks about Giannis. :)

http://www.sbnation.com/college-basketball/2017/3/24/15049230/giannis-antetokounpo-oregon-tyler-dorsey-greek-national-team-ncaa-tournament-2017

“I got to guard him a lot; he’s so strong, athletic and he can dribble. He can do everything on the court so he’s incredibly hard to guard,” said Dorsey back at Pac-12 Media Day in San Francisco. “He’s an animal! (chuckles) But I challenged him though. I ain’t backing down from nothing.”

“He made me better, because if you can learn to deal with his length and athleticism, you can deal with anyone else’s. Playing against him and having that experience made me a much better player.”

As of 1/4:

Points: 18th
Rebounds: 16th
Assists: 26th
Blocks: 6th
Steals: 10th

Bonus
PER: 9th

He needs to have 6/7 assists per game for the last 6 in order to have a chance in the top20.
Just do it man.

He's 21st in total assists, 5 assists behind Conley. You're talking about assists per game, which has nothing to do with the record.

The record is about per game productivity.
Totals have nothing to do with this.

What are you talking about? The record is about ranking top 20 in all statistical categories (totals) in a season.

Nope that's different record. You're talking about this
http://www.12up.com/posts/4718241-giannis-antetokounmpo-will-make-nba-history-if-he-continues-at-this-pace

I'm talking for per game numbers, which is more difficult to accomplish.

Another big game from Freak against Detroit. The missed FT's were troubling. His form looks fine but he snaps his wrist too much which hampers the arc. If he improves his jumper accuracy and his confidence to take them, it's going to be unfair for the league.

I don't know how important is the win/loss record for the player of the month award but if it's the most important Giannis may have a chance of getting it for the first time.

Giannis

W/L--PPG--REB--AST--STL--BLK--TOV
14/4--22.4--8.4--4.8---1.3--1.8---2.2

The only one who has a W/L close to Giannis is IT

IT

W/L--PPG--REB--AST--STL--BLK--TOV
10/4--28.0--2.1--4.8--1.4--0.2---2.8
