That's why he's making it...

I do think Ingram is awfully young and still has time to get better, but he is still a ways away from being a legit starter or even worthy of heavy minutes on a serious team in the league

And whoever said the thing about looking for flashes of good play over consistency is spot on. Nobody can be consistently good on a team that is actively trying to lose games.

Buddy Hield has quietly put together a pretty good 2nd half of his rookie season

I really do think Buddy Hield will be a star. I'm talking future 20+ PPG scorer on very good efficiency. He's an old rookie but he's going to be a good one.

I certainly think he'll be a capable scorer. For me it depends on how the rest of his game evolves. That'll be the difference between him being best suited as a microwave scorer off the bench, and a legitimate starter. He was very impressive last night. He's got a deep bag of trips to create himself space.

I'd hate to poke the bear, but I'm going to poke the bear.

Brown, regression to the mean. Now at 30% for the month of March.

He's taking more 3s from above the break and less from the corner in March, as either the shot charts or watching the games would bear out. His stroke is reliable from the corner but not from the angles to the basket right now. I don't think anyone is concerned about his shooting progress relative to expectations.

On another note - we all laughed at the Kings for drafting Papagiannis but his box scores look solid. Is he actually playing well?

If we exclude the games he's hit a 3, he's actually shooting 0%, which is much more reflective of who he is as a shooter

But lets be honest here, if he only had a fair treatment from the refs this would have been a 40pts night, or close to it. What they are letting the opposing players do to him (especially Buttler, but Dario gets this kind of treatment day in day out) was so obvious and so bad that even the Chicago commentators remarked on that in this video. He literally has to get pommeled to get a foul call. Hopefully ROY will change this for him.

Agree. It is disgusting how the refs treats Dario.

Give Willy minutes and he'll produce. He won't be a star in the league but I can see him as a solid starter on a contender.
