I wish I could watch tonight's game. Can I precaution everyone to not put too much weight on one regular season game.

With Isaiah Thomas defense being so horrible and Lebron not having his best season. John Wall is the best player in the east.

Only Westbrook, Harden and possibly Leonard should be ahead of him in MVP rankings.

23/4/11/2.Top 15 in the league for scoring, 2nd in the league for assists and steals and 4th in the league for minutes played. Having his best shooting year at 54%ts.

Not only is he controlling games perefectky on the offensive end. He is nearly the best defensive point guard in the league. He's lead this Wizards team from looking like a high lottery team to a 50+ win season and a possible 1st or 2nd seed in the east!!

You take John Wall out of the Wizards and they go back to being a lottery team. No doubt.

Why do you think Lebron is not having his best season - he is only 1 point down on his career average and having his best seasons ever for rebounds and assists .
But if you think Walls 23.0/4.2/10.8
are better than Lebrons 26.1/8.4/8.8
then good for you.

Of course not. This is realGM after all. One day you are the GOAT, the next you are the worst player in history.

In the grand scheme of things you are right, it should not hold much weight. But when you look deeper... OKC is 1 loss behind Utah for the 4th seed. If HOU loses today, they have GS on deck, another loss there, and in my opinion it becomes a toss up.

Let's say Hou finishes 3rd, and Okc finishes 4th.... who gets the MVP then? That's why I think this game is more important than 1 game usually would be. Harden is clearly in front right now (not by a lot, but he is ahead if it ended today), but should they finish within 1 seed of each other, it will be extremely close as to who gets the MVP. I'd still lean harden because of the record, and i think that's how voters will decide it.

He is also playing some of his worst defense since early years Lebron. Seriously Lebron should be out of the GOAT conversation is the "best year of his career" results in a team barely better than a Isaiah Thomas led Boston Celtics. While having Kyrie, Love, and some of the best shooting in the league.

I've been saying it for a while now-

Harden will win MVP rather easily. Not because he's the true MVP, but because Houston's other players are way better than most people think they are.

I'm not Leonard fan at all, but I have to say that seeing Harden playing defense is simply embarrassing! This guy isn't even trying to defend and when you don't make any effort to defend then you have much more energy in the offense part and the same thing can be said with Westbrook.
Lebron having a great year, but his team sucks big time, so Leonard is the real MVP of the league.

Rockets are so much better than the thunder. This is why harden will win the MVP. Can't give the award to someone on such an inferior team compared to the rockets.

Bc harden makes 'em better. We'll never know how would they do without him bc he doesn't take nights off

Lou Williams ending the Harden vs Westbrook MVP debate...the answer is neither, Lou Williams the real MVP.

They weren't way better for the many years most of them have been in the league. Ask guys like Ryan Anderson and Gordon about the difference this year in their game and they will say a lot of it has to do with Harden.

Westbrook's simply the better player. Harden just has the much better team.

Harden is just on another level compared to everyone in the league this year.

Kawhi's 2nd in the MVP race after Westbrook just shamelessly padded his stats in the 4th quarter.
