8th seed still possible

Post#1 » by reppin_the_847 » Mon Mar 27, 2017 1:07 am

Pretty sure if Detroit takes down the Knicks tomorrow @ NYC & then the Heat in Miami on Tuesday, they'll be sitting in the 8th seed. What do you think is the likelihood of this happening Detroit fans? I know that the team morale & fan support is at an all-season low right now.

About the same as winning Powerball 10 times in a row playing the exact same numbers. Clearly, not 0. ;-)

You think they'll lose to the Knicks? The Knicks to some degree are the true laughing stock of the NBA, even more than the Pistons. Their only bright spots are Porzingis & Hernangomez. Other than that, Pistons should beat them (as they have earlier this season). Carmelo Anthony has been quite a joke & so has Derrick Rose.

100% and I'm usually the type of fan to have hope, well I hope they lose. I'm done with the Pistons, just lose out the season. They embarrassed me this season

why would anyone want to see this joke of a team in the playoffs?

Nope.

They had their chance to not lose to the Bulls, Magic, and Nets.
They had their chance to not get **** on by Brook Lopez for 29 and to not let a team starting Spencer Dinwiddie beat them.
They had their chance to not get blown out and have Mirotic drop 28 on a team starting a guy named Zipser and a guy named Joffrey. Just, wtf.
They had their chance to not get blown out by the Magic and let Payton log a triple double, let Jodie Meeks have his revenge, and allow six players to score 14 or more.

They don't care about their chances so I sure as **** don't.

I think its possible we beat the Knicks, but the Heat game is a Back to Back for us and then the Heat get to play the Knicks two games in a row so we'll likely be out of the playoff talk by the end of March.

This team isn't making the playoffs, these players don't give a crap and even if they did it's too late.

I still hope we make it. We might draw the Celtics. As bad as things get, still can't give up on the season when you're only 1 game out of 8th and 3 games out of 5th place with 9 whole games left.

Woah... Dinwiddie is the next big thing. Future all-star and triple double threat!

We're only 3 games out of the 5th seed, I don't want the 8th seed but as long as we don't get Cleveland in the first round I want in.

whoever we get, Boston, Cleveland, Washington or even Toronto is gonna kill our weak team.

Why do people have a desire to get swept by the Cavs so badly? Seriously, we got blown out by bottom feeders. You think we're any match for an engaged Cavs team? It's fool's errand.

I'd rather be at the bottom of the lottery, where we at least have a minuscule chance at winning the lottery.

The 9th pick in the draft is still possible too. Tank! Tank! Tank!
