Boston just tied Cavs for 1st.
We'd have to go 7-2 to get to 41 wins. Looking at Bulls easy schedule they'll probably get 41 wins. And we don't have the breaker against them. Miami has a tough schedule down the stretch vs cavs raps wash and all those teams will probably be needing wins so Miami might actually be on the outside lookin in for playoffs.
Odds are definitely against us. Especially the way we've looked the last week.
We're about to play 4 games in 5 nights lol. And then have 4 days rest.
If by some miracle we win tonight and beat Miami tmrw there's still a chance. I'll be "glancing" at the score tonight with a tiny bit of optimism cause that's how I roll ;)
I wouldn't doubt this team gets our hopes up must enough to come close to a playoff seed but lose a tiebreaker to the Bulls just to demoralize us more hahaha. We lose to crap teams, and then somehow we'll win vs Miami and Bucks this week on our back to backs to completely screw all logic

You apparently haven't been watching this team quit.

If your team is 1 game out the playoffs and 3 games from 5th with 9 games left... you HAVE to still want to make it. Hit the reset button and cheer we can do it!

As long as it's more than a .3% chance you win the championship you go for it. I get the whole tank strategy we aren't gonna win anyway but...

It's not that serious be a fan lol

Yall be ready to tank like yall have financial incentive and are trying to protect your jobs. If that was the case I get the argument but as far as I know nobody on here is on SVG's staff. I'm still proud that we had the most competitive series with the champs in the East despite being swept and primarily lost because if Reggie Trashson (who is hopefully now benched!)

I don't see this team making the playoffs. We got a brutal schedule coming up, with games against BKN and ORL. For most teams, those are easy wins. But for us, we might as well be playing against the Warriors.

This team has no heart, and has given up. The only way they make the playoffs is if 2 teams ahead of them fall flat on their faces, and we somehow find a way to finish at least 6-3. Don't see either of those scenarios happening, let alone both.

Anybody notice Atlanta is on a 7 game losing streak? At least we're not them

there's still going to be a couple games where our shooters "accidentally" get hot. we might win those games.

We're really not in any situation to point at some other failing team and say "yep, we dodged a bullet". We're really not that much better off than any bad team right now sans the Nets.

Considering we take each game and shoot ourselves in the foot, over and over.

My point is... they are struggling late in the season just like we are. Somebody is on a worse stretch than us we're not the worst. If they can still be in the playoffs how they're playing we are just as deserving so we can go out there and compete and try to win at least 6 out of 9.

They are more deserving because they won more games...that's how standings work
