Considering she routinely pitched Clinton political ad ideas, and went on record with the following quote I'd agree not a good idea to align yourself with her:

-----From Mensch

“If you vote Trump you are the scum of the earth, a colluder in racism and ‘deplorable’ is too good for you. This means everyone.”

-----
She also has said the FBI was under Russian control (during the election), and openly advocated for war with Russia.

The lady is toxic, bitter and delusional....and frankly seemingly insane.

Yeah, I acknowledge she's quite erratic in a lot of other ways but as Pride said she has been piecing this together quite well which is about all I care about. I don't agree with her on very much outside of this whole Russia thing. I also appreciate what she retweets from actual journalists and reporters. I had unfollowed her last week and then changed my mind when I missed having that constant stream of news on my TL.

Louise Mensch has issues. Someone post that tweet from a few days ago where she claimed a Russian spy plane just landed at a Connecticut airport.
I think she is deranged.

This is is where I'm at as well.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

That's actually pretty tame for her. For fun, disagree with her on Twitter and see what profane version of a Russian supporter you are....

This woman has openly called for violence, civil war, World War 3, claims Putin killed Andrew Breitbart to elevate Steve Bannon, claims her ADHD gives her "superpowers" to decipher the Russian web of conspiracies, thinks the Link NYC Wifi is under Russian control, and that a florist on her block is a Russian operative.

Also, keep in mind she's a regular "source" and writes op-eds for The NY Times and Washington Post.

Just remember when you read "A source at The NY Times confirms...." or a "source at The Washington Post states" when it's nearly anything related to "Russia" has a high likelihood of being Mensch.

Much of the questioning surrounding this entire debacle stems from the Times and Post publishing her cleaned up rants. She did the same thing in the U.K. with Corbyn, Trump is her newly adopted hobby after moving to the US.

She also just claimed over the weekend that Putin is sending in Chechens to direct the terror attacks in the EU, using Islamic immigration as a cover. Yeah.

Last one (I swear) she stated the slogan "America First" was a Nazi style slogan provided to the Trump team by Russia.

So, I can't remember who was talking about how the ACA was going to get defunded. But essentially all that Price has to do is to not appeal the Health-Law Lawsuit that is currently in the courts. That would deprive insurers of $Bs. The only thing worse would for them to wait as long as they could before making the decision.

The President of Iran writes Op-Eds for the NYTimes as well.

Its great that you agree with me though on using vetted sources for our news stories! I see positive steps forward!

Really? A high likelihood? Like .5%? Are you really trying to imply that most of the sourcing for Russia isn't actual sources in the FBI, White House, NSA, or businesses in New York, but are all just this one person???? Let me guess, this statement is sourced at multiple crazy alt-right sites, right?

Wow....yeah, no, I'm pretty much ignoring the high likelihood.

"America First" was a popular movement prior to WWII opposed to U.S. involvement in foreign wars and particularly the war in Europe. The movement was not explicitly anti-Jewish, but it widely attracted many Jew haters (some of them openly pro-German), including such prominent Jew haters as Henry Ford and Charles Lindbergh. The concept of "America First" can be many things, and I agree with some versions of the ideal, but it's kind of hard to escape the unfortunately anti-Jewish history connected to the label "America First."

I don't really follow this Mensch character. She sounds kind of nuts, sort of in the same way Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh sound a little nuts. I assume with all of them that at least some of it is just for bombastic show. Gotta make a name for yourself in this world, right?

Looks like Dick Cheney thinks what Russia did in the election was an Act of War. Then again, he may think its an act of war if his local restaurant forgets to remove the cilantro from his fajita order.

I never understood where the Jew hate comes from. What is it about Jews that aggravates so many people? I don't get it.

WSJ has an article today about that. If this administration drops the appeal of the lower court ruling (finding that congress never appropriated funds for the federal payouts to insurers and therefore they are improper) then ACA would collapse rather quickly. If Trump decides to go this route then IMO he would be wise to prep congress to prepare emergency legislation to fund insurers through some finite timeframe. Then congress would have an opportunity to develop a bipartisan plan with a sense of urgency to help the process along.
