That Snell 3 was a back breaker. He's 10-14 in this game, killing it.

Batum really didn't show up this game. Frank and Lamb played well.

Really worst possible result happened there. A blowout would have given players more rest and allowed the team to actually use plumlee. This team is good at shooting itself in the foot.

Yep, Batum noticeably absent. Only 9 FGAs.

Batum only played 28 minutes, Kemba only 32. Will be interesting to see how we respond tomorrow.

Meh, I can respect that they fought back into it. I don't think I would have felt better getting blown out even if that meant less minutes.

Runs were impressive. But, too much Snell. Too little Batum and Marv.

Cliff lit into the team post-game. Said Weber and Roberts were the only guys who brought effort. Good teams play hard every game, we didn't play hard tonight. Defender was terrible, we played all around terrible. Competitors show up in games like tonight.

Totally disregarded the run at the end of the game as MIL falling asleep but not evidence of us not playing terrible.

That Cliff still has a job is mind-boggling.

Part I watched, Lamb was a guy he mentioned as playing hard and having a good game.

Yeah looks like I heard wrong. Maybe I heard Brian and Weber when he said Lamb and Roberts?

at least the Lamb clan can give Clifford a break today.
On a serious note, could this also be a sign that something is working with the Lamb/Clifford relationship?

c'mon i need a silver lining here, one better than "hey we might get to pick 9th!"

Didn't nic used to be a good defender?

was that all Nic? His man was moving out to the 3pt line, he came in late to help. Sort of half assed it, but I could see why he was out of position

He used to be a good defender (albeit limited against physical players, but good team defender - rarely taken off the ball - at the very least and against guards). He also used to have true shoot averages in the mid 60.

He better work out this summer to fix his game because he regressed everywhere this year except with turnovers (even though he still does too many unforced ones). The most disappointing player of this roster by far, because he has the tools to do much better every game.

Don't think hes ever been over .60 in a season hes player at least half the games.

His regression is very troubling to me because it seems at least partially physical, which shouldn't be happening anywhere at his age, and we are on hook for over 20 mil per season for four more years. I almost hope it is a work ethic issue and not just his body actually breaking down abnormally fast, so that its at least possibly fixable. I don't want to imagine what he is going to look like three years from now if this keeps up.

A reduced offensive role should help with his efficiency at least. We really need to find a secondary scorer.

Nic has also had to move up a position to guarding sgs this year that could be part of the reason for his below average play. From my perspective, he's seems better at guarding the 3 due to his size and speed. Missing Lee has really hurt this team. Maybe the team will be able to trade over the summer either MKG, Marco, and/or Lamb for a 3&D shooting guard that can start. Or, just trade one of them for picks and sign a guy like JJ Redick. Marco and Lamb just aren't good enough to start and it doesn't help to have both of them filling the same role. MKG can come in off the bench and probably win 6th man if this team added a decent backup pg to team with either Marco or Lamb(whichever we keep)
