Yeah, it's good growth for him.

Comparatively, Oladipo is averaging 17.6ppg over his last 5, but he's shooting a blazing hot 55% from 3.

All in all, we've not lost much in terms of a talent trade off, but we've saved like $15M per season between the difference of their contracts. And Ross seems to know his role here. Oladipo thought his role was as a star, which he's not cut out to be.

And over the current previous 5..... oladipo is averaging 14.8pnts and shooting better from the 3pt line than he is from the field in general (42% from the field and 40.3% from the field).... lol... so in this bottle.... we're coming out on top big.

It's funny because if you scroll back there was guys posting memes and"I told you so" type of nonsense and now they have gone silent. It's weird how people give a guy 6 or so games and think they have it all figured out. Just hilarious.

Isn't it a five-game stretch that is the source of all this newfound optimism? When it comes to statistics, the larger sample is almost always more representative than the smaller one. Everyone likes to pick and choose what to look at to support their position.

Not really. My earlier posts pointed out that Ross's long term stats indicated he would shoot the ball much better than he was. So now that he is, we are getting a better idea of how we works for us. Again, I've only said I think he could be a 16-18 ppg scorer at sg, but that's all we need if we keep adding the right pieces.

I like Fournier. I like Ross also. I don't see iether of them as a sf. I think if Ross was playing at the SG spot more he would be better. The question I guess would be who do we get to play the backup sg spot if evan was moved?

Anyone who doesn't cost $17M per year to be a backup.

So the consensus is that Ross is a SG and not a SF?

Correct. And I also have proposed that he is better than Oladipo, which is being displayed tonight as not so insane as earlier posters suggested just a few pages back.

When Oladioo shoots, you shutter, but when Ross shoots you expect it to go in. Both are athletic and decent defenders. Ross just seems more smooth and natural. Ross is the better player easily in my opinion. Payton/Ross is a great complimentary combo at the guard spots.

Yep..I had a lot of critics going at me just weeks ago in here. Odd how the meme kid was so eager to post negativity but now that Ross has settled in, he has gone quiet.

Also had a guy talk about how great he can assess players and that I was insane for saying what you just did. Didn't look that crazy to me, especially when he lit up OKC all night.

I really think ross should've stayed as the 6th man. for the magic he would be a prime jamal Crawford 6th man. or fouriner would be a great 6th man also. they need someone from the bench that can take over and either these two can kill that role. its too bad fouriner thinks hes a superstar level player from the contract he got.
