Anyone know when Dion could return? I hope its at least by next Friday for the Toronto game, and the follow up of Cleveland, & both Washington games couse its gona be a close race down the stretch.
I see Chicago making it, & Indy droping out. Unless we lose all 4 of theoe games then we might be the ones out.

Don't you mean win? We're trying to win, Leoshes.
A lot of fans think we'll get an easy game with these guys--maybe they'll be saving players for the postseason--but I don't think so. This is their chance to eliminate us from the playoffs with almost no risk at all. They will want us out, just to keep out our wackiness variable. That means we'll need some upsets against them. I see us finishing with 39 wins, but I'd love to see 41. It would make history.

^Like previous poster asked, any update on Dion's injury?
I heard Whiteside has another week on wearing stitches. That will mean we only get 3 more games of the one hand wonder.

We don't know anything, the sprain wasn't even given a grade. All we know is this one was worse than the last and he is working on returning to the team. It's quite impressive what this team is doing in it's current state, these guys must really want this.

Re: GT: Heat @ Knicks, Wednesday March 29th, 7:30 PM EST
It's now down to a 2 team race (Miami & Chicago) for the final playoff spot with 8 games left. The Bulls have been playing < .500 ball and have the Cavs and Hawks as their next 2 opponents while we get to slap the Knicks around twice (away/home). If we take care of our business, we should be up at least 2 games with 6 to go come come April 2nd, and I can't imagine this Bulls team making up 2 games on anyone.
Detroit is 2 1/2 games back after having lost 5 straight and 8 of their last 10 ... they are dead in the water, and Van Gundy should be sweating.
In other words, I would be shocked if we didn't make the playoffs at this point.
Catching Indiana and even Atlanta is still possible since both are struggling and playing < .500 ball.
The Pacers play @Memphis, @Toronto, @Cleveland, Toronto, & Milwaukee their next 5 games so ... we got this!
The Hawks play @Philly, @Chicago, @Brooklyn, Boston, @Cleveland their next 5, so we've got a half decent shot at them too.
If I had to bet my life, I'd say we finish 7th ... and hopefully play the Cavs.

Re: GT: Heat @ Knicks, Wednesday March 29th, 7:30 PM EST
The New York Knicks are one of our 3 greatest rivals, at least in the Eastern Conference, but I can think of no opponent we (or they) fight so hard. Two finals give the Mavericks and Spurs a leg up in the "greatest rivals" contest.
We have played a total of 142 games, more than any other opponent in our history. We have a losing record in the regular season and a narrow advantage in playoff games:
113 regular season games (52-61)
29-28 at home
23-33 in New York
Season series: 9-12-7
Currently (0-1 at home this season with 1 away and 1 home to play)
29 playoff games (15-14)
Playoff Series (2-3)
2012: (4-1)
2000: (3-4)
1999: (2-3)
1998: (2-3)
1997: (4-3)
My favorite was 1997 when we overturned a 1-3 deficit to win 4-3.
We have PK odds tonight and 8 point favorites back in Miami. For us, this game is important because we are in playoff contention. For a certain part of the Knicks fan base, many I have as friends (but basketball rivals), a victory over Miami (and claiming another annual victory in the regular season rivalry) is another measure of pride.
They will step up the game in MSG. You can believe it.
So we need to do it too.

I like how Cleveland is tanking hard so they don't have to face us in the first round.

They absolutely don't want any of this. Atlanta and Indiana would be easy outs for them in the first round. We'd give them fits. And with the fragile psyche of that team right now, and the relentless way this team is playing, I can see us sending them home, and doing it in less than 7 games.
