Over the last four games, all wins, Wall has put up phenomenal numbers.

3P% 35%
FT% 90%
PTS 28.7
AST: 11
REB 3.2
STL 2.7

Great to see him playing at such a high level going into the playoffs!

Beal deserved to make the All-Star team and has taken his game to another level after the snub. If you count Harden as a SG he is the only one who has a case over Beal. The Wizards surge in the standings should bring more notice among the press voters.

I would be pleasantly surprised although I'm not counting on the press as a whole to make the correct decision given how the all star voting went.

Looking at last year's All-NBA teams, it seems that it's done like All-Star teams. 6 Guards, regardless if they play PG or SG.

Westbrook and Harden - First Team

Then you have the following battling for the last 4 spots:

Thomas, Curry, Wall, Derozen, Paul, Beal, Thompson, Lilliard, McCollum

I would assume the first four that I listed would be the choices for the 2nd and 3rd teams.

I doubt Paul gets in since he missed so much time and the Clippers seem to be floundering. Lillard and McCollum weren't even All-Stars, let alone all NBA.

I think Wall gets All-NBA, I'd say 2nd team.

And Kyrie Irving. The media voted DeRozan and Irving as starters for the East. I think it is likely that a majority of them will vote this way as well for all-nba team. Isiah got more votes than Wall for the all star game plus the Celtics have a better record than the Wizards. I could also see Klay making it over Wall who did beat out Harden last season.

I know...its crazy....people in DC always questioning wall but everywhere else they like ILL TAKE HIM OVER OUR POINT...only GS, Houston and OKC feel like naw im good.

To be fair Wall does have issues with shooting and turnovers. He is still a legit All-Star but it isn't hating on him to acknowledge his flaws.

Glad to see him stepping up going into the playoffs.

Being healthy all season, he has improved tremendously and deserves credit for inching this close to superstar status right at the beginning of his prime.

Always? Exaggerate much? I am not trolling him like Nat does but when he is missing 10+ shots and turning it over I will criticize him for it. When he comes down the court and takes a 2 pt jumper before anyone else touches the ball, that is a bad shot.

Aside from being healthier than in past years, what has he really improved?

He still shoots sub-40% on 2 point jumpers on over 6 attempts per game.

He is shooting 31% from 3, right in line with his career average.

He is attacking the rim more and getting to the foul line more this year which has improved his efficiency. Other than that he is basically the same player, just healthier with better teammates. Nothing wrong with that. I would rank him 4th among all PGs, but there is a pretty big gap between him and Russ/Paul/Curry.

I think 5 guys are shoe-ins: Harden, Westbrook, Thomas, Curry and Wall.

The battle is for 6th between DeRozan and Paul. Chris Paul is clearly the better player, but if we're only counting guys who played 70+ games, then it's tough to argue anybody over Derozan. Beal made a strong push in February, but has leveled off a bit. Lowry, like Paul, has missed a ton of games. Thompson is the 4th best player on his own team. Lillard's team is below .500. McCollum has no argument over Beal.

How is Curry a better player than Wall this year? I just don't see it when I watch the games. Wall has better stats, higher PER, and doesn't get to play on a team littered with all stars. Only thing Curry does better than Wall is shoot and even Curry's shooting has took a step back this year. Wall is light years better than Curry as a passer, floor general, defender, and attacking the basket. Wall is also better than Paul. On the case of Westbrook due to his style of play I find it hard to call Westbrook a pg. Harden and Lebron are more of a pg than Westbrook.
