How do you not know where your feet are, and then switch off manu and just stand at the three point line while gasol cuts behind you? Vic is another in our long line of dumbass players
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Sounds like over for the 5th seed. We started playing so bad offensively in the 3rd quarter omg. It wasn't even because of some spurs adjustments (even if Kawhi played great during second half)

And this pretty much locks us into the 6-seed, right? Great, four losses in a row of losing 140-120 to the Rockets.

The refs showed the Spurs some deep, passionate, sensual love the final couple minutes of the game, too, after the Basketball Gods gave them every damn bounce, roll, and spin of the basketball for the first 46 minutes.

This team is such a disappointing cluster**** other than Westbrook.

Not really all that surprised or mad about this game for some reason. Yeah we had a large lead but it was always fools gold. He have some really sugar-honey-iced-tea players on this roster that get playing time out of necessity or some bs. :noway: Semaj played in a lineup with Russ that had Kanter and Adams together with Roberson. You can't expect to beat the spurs with that garbage.

Adams played pretty well which was encouraging, but Kanter is still as microwaved dog crap when you play him next to Adams because he is forced to guard on the perimeter. I just can't be too mad when this roster needs another major upheaval and is going against probably the second best team in the NBA. Cleveland is playing poorly with much better players than anything we have so.... it is what it is.

I guess this sorta makes up for the miracle come from behind wins over two terrible teams our previous two games.

At one point we had Semaj, Oladipo, Roberson, Kanter, and I wanna say Adams on the floor against Kawhi, Gasol, Aldridge, and Mills. Aldridge may not have been out there, but Kawhi, Gasol, and Mills definitely were.

Donovan is a terrible coach.

It's kind of like just reluctant acceptance. We're at a deadend while this braindead **** is coaching the team. But he's not getting fired any time soon. I wouldn't exactly use the term 'at peace with it', but it's kind of like that. No matter how mad we get things aren't going to change for a while, unfortunately.

I think my frustration boils down to two things:

1.) I want us to get as close to 50 wins as possible and finish top 5 in the West so Westbrook can rightfully win MVP.

and..

2.) When we were up 93-90 late in the game, and it looked like we were going to hold the Spurs off, the refs whistled us for two BS fouls on back-to-back Spurs possessions and the Spurs finally took the lead. You knew it was over at that point. I can handle losing to the Spurs. Heck, I can even semi-handle blowing a 20 point second half lead to the Spurs. What I can't handle is when their penultimate "getting over the hump moment" is 98% aided by terrible calls from the refs.

I expected to lose pregame. They lost. Might go to bed early. Dunno. Sucks for Russ.

It's is a good point that we're doing very well compared to Cleveland. I give all credit to Russ.

Can someone enlighten me as to what is going on regarding Taj? I'm guessing we are saving him for the playoffs. I knew something was up when Domantas was starting again. Did we purposely tank any chance of winning this game by "resting" Taj and playing Domas/Grant/Kanter instead. It almost feels like this team wants to wind up the 6th seed. Do they like their matchup against Houston that much?

I hope not. The Rockets will score 120+ on us every game and win in five games max. We've at shown we can at least semi-compete with the Spurs. We beat the Rockets once and played them close the other two games, but all four times we've played them we've fell behind by 15+ at one point and spent the rest of the game fighting and clawing back into it.

Taj just isn't the type of player the thunder are built on. He plays both sides of the ball.

Despite going 2-1 the last three games, I feel like those games showed this team's strengths and weaknesses very clearly. Russ is amazing and everyone else is not very good. Even Kanter has struggled lately offensively. Oh and remember that time Victor caught the ball out of bounds?

He left practice sick earlier in the day.

Would have helped too. I don't know how to feel, I expected a loss, and they didn't play terribly well. So I don't even know.

]Also, Mcdermott deserves some 'love' for being stupid enough to foul Leonard in transition and not even attempt to wrap him up so he got the and-one and put the game out of reach. I don't understand how NBA players don't realize that if you're intentionally fouling it needs to be hard enough that they can't get a shot off.
