OT: The Next Shawn Kemp? Zion Williamson

Post#1 » by VintageVince » Sat Apr 1, 2017 3:07 am

He's 16 years old, 230 pounds and soaring above the rim doing alley-oop windmills and blocking shots left and right... His size / shape / dunks remind me of Shawn Kemp. He's going to be a very fun player to watch.

class of 2018

This is by far the best high school mixtape that i've seen.

Absolutely nuts. The kid is a beast. I think the Kemp comparison is an apt one.

Lets just hope he doesn't share the same off-court tastes as Shawn.

@ Ramed Nazored, yeah he's already 230 at 16, and I gotta feeling if he isn't careful, he can add on weight pretty quickly.

Also we should probably consider starting the tank for this kid. His swag is Vasquez-esque.

He's like Lebron without the PG skills. Blake Griffin 2!

Shawn Kemp, Charles Barkley, Lebron.

Dude's the most athetic freak since Lebron in high school.

He's a beast. I try to avoid the obvious physical similarities to LeBron in his build and the way he finishes those tamahawk dunks, but it's just too obvious to ignore. Kemp was phenomenal in his prime. He was what people hoped Blake Griffin would be ie. Griffin with defense.

I like the Charles Barkley comparison, he's more athletic though.

Best mixtape I've ever seen too, this kid looks like a monster. We'll see what he becomes and how his jumpshot is but he looks incredible.

Surprisingly, he's actually ranked as the #2 Junior in the country, not even #1.

I've never seen anyone who cocks the ball that far back for those dunks though, not even LeBron.

Meh, our boy Pops Mensah Bonsu used to have some pretty sick dunks as well. How is the rest of his game?

The 1st ranked prospect in 2018 Marvin bagley jr is supposed to be the best prospect since Lebron.
