Inspired by snakebites' Finals rivals teaming up, I'll go Draymond here. The defense between LeBron and Draymond will be extremely effective and extremely versatile.

Alright with the help of Parsnips33 and Dantley I managed to finally pick a path from the maze I had in my head. Here we go.

First I'll take me some:

The Sugar Ray and Shaq Attack has a lot of offensive firepower but it's pretty expensive and could use some help on the other end. Who's the go to super-cheap defensive specialist who can still shoot the lights out? Bruce Bowen of course.

Next, one of my favorite players I've never had the chance to take before:

I'm straight up trying to go 4-out around Shaq, just make it impossible to double so that he's totally unstoppable. What better guy to do that without sacrificing anything defensively than Sheed? I think he's the perfect fit with Shaq, is relatively cheap and I like the doors he leaves open for me on the back end. I'm almost as happy about getting Sheed as he looks in this picture.

More defense/playmaking! Iguodala is a guy I keep coming back to. His Warriors seasons may be the best skills-for-FGA value in the game

I had another pick planned going in, but at that time I didn't expect this guy to still be available. The value is too good to pass up and I've already got a great offensive foundation so...

I have 3 amazing defenders already in MJ, Artest, and Rodman, but I could use some more offense. I'll take Reggie Miller

I'll take Brent Barry. Elite offensive role player that will fit well with Duncan/Kawhi/Manu. Gives me a lot of options for my next pick.

Beat MJ in the ECF in 6 and swept Magic in the Finals right after.

Bad Boys had a great defense, but without the two way play of IT, who carried them offensively, they wouldn't have won back to back titles.

The road I want to go starts with Jeff Hornacek.
