I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a top 5 pick. Insane wingspan, runs really well for his size, has insane hops for his size and he has a jump shot. He's like Gobert on steroids. Sure he has no post moves or hesitations, but man he could be really good. He moves so well, I think he could play 4 and defend the wing too.

I love his potential from what footage I've seen, but I think I read somewhere (might've been nbadraft.net, so I'll take it with a grain of salt) that he wasn't showing much development?

Dude's definitely got an impressive frame and one of the higher ceilings of guys in the 2nd round at the moment.

It would be theft if he was taken in the second round. Should be a lottery pick.

Have you been watching him this season? How's he going?

This is what I was going by from draft.net, btw -

Things haven't really changed for Jeanne. Everybody knew that he was a long term prospect to begin with. But this is the second year in the row that he has failed to show any meaningful improvement. The French prospect is long and athletic, but he really needs to add some muscle and add some things to his skillset on both sides of the floor. He is mostly out of the rotation and his playing time comes mostly in garbage time. He did have a standout game in February though, but he really needs to show a lot more.

He's playing in the French league, playing for Sluc Nancy Basket. He hasn't gained too much weight, but he looks better than he did last year. At this point I really don't think it matters anymore. If you're thinking of him as a 5, I think he needs a lot of work. I think he's more of a 4 because he can play like one and he could defend the wing. If he can set a pick he could be unstoppable, but his lack of strength hurts that. Still, his frame is looking better after gaining some weight. I think he'll handle the weight fine. I'm in awe at the way he runs for someone his size and with his wingspan. I think this could be a monster player like Giannis.

monte morris
i mean, he's a projected 2nd rounder, but he has really made strides this season. his solid bball iq will keep him in the league. plays pick and roll well, and in the right system will thrive.

I don't know how anyone takes Dozier outside of the lottery. Him and Collins.

The way he's playing, Dozier might be going high lotto THIS year.. his touch inside the arc is so impressive. He just has no range on his J. But the kid can score when he finally feels like scoring

Collins with a statement game!

Dozier als plays well. Would be a risk in the lottery but definitely worth a first round pick if you believe he can further extend his range. PJ certainly has upside with his physical tools, attitude and a versatile skill set that is a good foundation for further improvement.

Collins this whole year, has looked like the safest "big" prospect in this draft if he declares

Zach Collins is no longer a sleeper! But Dozier looked really bad tonight.

Are you joking? Dozier looked amazing tonight. Great defender, great drives taking contact, great rebounds that put them back in the game and he had a nice touch around the basket. Was really impressed with him against that defense.

His stats ended up being passable because of what he did early, but when it really mattered in the last 2 minutes he missed 3 shots.

Oh, I don't care about stats much. I care more about his ability. I was actually surprised how composed he was during this game. I blame his last misses on sloppy execution and bad movement by everyone else on his team. The whole team just seemed stifled by Gonzaga's defense. I don't blame Dozier for those last minutes, expecially since he's a freshman. If it was Thornwell I would (and do) judge him harder because he's a senior.

Dozier is an NBA athlete, has poised and got that midrange J Shaun Livingston-esque locked in, doesnt have range and likely neveer shoots the ball well, but has such a high ceiling on D... I don't know, he is at least as good as Delon Wright and he went 20th been way older, and a worse athlete, although he was a more efficient player.

I had Dozier late-lotto in January when he was shooting the ball really well, surprisingly, I think lotto might be too high but certainly he is gonna be top20 in my board if he declares.

Collins, PJ, Thornwell, Justin Jackson, were by far the best 4 prospects in the FF.

Dozier is a soph not a frosh, he is always composed and poised, he was amazing against Florida in that regard too.
He looks like an athletic Shaun Livingston out there.

I always forget he's a sophomore. I completely agree with the Shaun Livingston comparison. Could end up being better. He moves laterally so naturally, like he was born to defend the wing.

Who'd you guys take higher, Sumner or Dozier?

Sumner is considerably quicker/faster, but I like Dozier's frame and presence on the floor better.
