I just saw the post and at first my brain read it as re signed. Then I realized it was resigned, as in quit, so I immediately looked at the date and saw April 1 and knew what this was going to be lol.

Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy
