Yeah. Awful time to have that.

Don't matter, they'll go at it in the playoffs (hopefully okc stays 6th).

If one really outplays another, different story

Don't matter, Robinson is remembered by how Hakeem pooped on him, n he was the mvp.

If we go by normal criteria I think it should be

1) harden
2) curry
3) goatbrook

I just can't be down with Curry above Westbrook. He's honestly had a mediocre season by his standards. Westbrook n Harden are on another level that is all to themselves. You can't rest games when you're healthy and win MVP, when guys like Westbrook and Harden are putting up insane historical #s and scrapping every damn game they can for their team, because they don't have 3 other All Stars on their team and don't have the luxury to sacrifice a W for REST.

I don't think currys missed many games, maybe 2? Kawhi has missed a bunch and it never gets talked about.

Mediocre year "by his standards" doesn't matter anyway he should be compared to other players but he's been a lot better than people realize.

I do agree harden and weatbrooks production has been far and beyond what engine else has produced.

Curry is suffering the Rodgers' symptom. People think what he did last year should now become the norm or it is a down year.

Yeah, what is happening to Curry is similar to what happened to Rodgers in 2012 and Lebron in 2011, Jordan in 1997 etc. He is being knocked for having merely a "great" season, instead of a "historic" season.

Today will be a show me type game for harden and westbrook. They should both win. Who does it better though. Think of it like game a of Horse. If you will.

Harden doubtful with 'flu like symptoms' but it's probably just rest (though that's just conjecture on my part, maybe he is sick)

Westbrook now has 40 triple doubles through 76 games played. He needs 2 more triple-double games in his remaining 6 games (assuming he plays them all) in order to set a new single-season record.

If Westbrook plays all 6 games left, this is what he needs to average in those 6 games in order to average a 30-point triple double for the year:

7/2/5

These are the raw numbers he needs in the three categories in order to average a 30-point triple double for the season over 82 games (assuming he plays the remaining 6 games of the schedule):

37 points more
11 rebounds more
29 assists more
Jokic 31/21/22
Luka & Oscar = 5 x 27/8/8
The Brodie = All-out energy

Yeah I am thinking he will get that. If Houston continues to lose Westbrook will get it.

Again...Curry is the 2nd best player in the league, until he manages to outplay LeBron in the playoffs...but someone outplaying LeBron for a playoff run hasn't happened since 2011 though.

Highly debatable, and in fact, other than PER, I don't see much of a case. Lineup data points to Curry being way more important to the Warriors all season long. And their recent run, including 4 straight impressive wins against Houston 2x, SA, and Washington, has been with Durant out, and Curry playing amazing.

Curry has always been better, but because his stat lines didn't show it before, people overlooked him.

If Curry was out, Kd would do just fine with that team as well. Kd has always been a better player than Curry, always

Like I said, there's just not much evidence for that.

I'd still rank KD #2. When he was healthy through his first 60 games he was just as much of an MVP compared to the Big 4 we're talking about now, the narrative about him leaving for Golden State turned off voters and fans so his name was barely mentioned. Durant's defense is really on another level, and when he's locked into a game he's just as dangerous on offense as Curry. Curry is #3, then Kawhi is #4 with Harden and Westbrook right on his tail both battling for #5.

GS is obviously fine without KD. I think they'd struggle a bit without Curry...he's the core of their team. KD is the more talented player but Curry is the better player.
